    Although E. R. Is a very sweet person, we are extremely aggravated with the services we have received. It took 2 years to get our 2020 tax return from her so we could mail it in even though she was supposed to file electronically. That took hundreds of phone calls, left messages, and showing up to the office. We were always told, its right here in top of the pile, Ill call you by the end of the week. We would never hear back and have to start the process of calling and such all over again. She never returns a call (nor does her assistant, who is NOT NICE) . Here it is time to file 2023 (we will not be using her) and we still havent gotten 2021 or 2022 back from her! We dont know if she has even filed them! We call every day and get no answer and her mailbox is always full so you can not leave a message. Its hit and miss if we go to the office. She may or may not be there. Or she says she has to find it and will call us by the end of the week, and we never hear back. We have been very patient but this is so unprofessional. Im pretty sure she hasnt even filed 21 or 22. I almost believe she has lost them. We just want all of our paper work back and for her to pay any fines that we might have gotten.

    I took my tax documents to the business the beginning of March/2023 in August/2023 I called and spoke to ****** and she would tell *** that I was worried and I wanted my taxes done. ****** told me *** filed a extension but she would tell her I had called. Since then There has been no contact I am unable to reach them by telephone, in person, and I put a note through the mail slot that stated please call me and gave my phone number. I want my taxes done and I want my documents back.

    I went to E. ********************** &Associates on March 28, 2023, to have my 2022 taxes done. During my appointment I told Mrs. ********************** I wanted to e-file my taxes. She said my refund checks would come faster if I mailed my refund. I told her I was more concerned about my taxes being timely, I was okay with waiting a little longer to get my refund checks. It's been over three months and I have not received either refund. I started calling her office maybe three weeks ago. I left a message and no one returned my call. I called again, left a message, and again no one returned my call. The third time I called, an employee answered. I told her that I had not received either of my refund checks and was starting to worry whether my taxes were even filed. The employee said she would talk to Mrs. ********************** and get back to me. It's been over a week and no one has gotten back to me. I called the office again yesterday and left yet another message. Today I started tinkering on line to see if I could verify my taxes were actually filed. I went to an *** website, entered in my information, and the site was not able to find any information. It recommended I contact my tax preparer. Now I'm frantic. I suspect my taxes were not filed. I know Mrs. ********************** has had some health challenges and I am wondering if this is why my calls are not being returned. I am worried that I could be in trouble with the *** and owe a fine.

    I never heard back from anyone at E. ********************** and Associates. I went to another tax preparer. He agreed to file my taxes, but insisted on preparing them also because he wanted to make sure they were done correctly since he was filing them through his company. His final numbers and amounts were different then Mrs. ************************ My taxes were filed electronically. The tax preparer said that if my taxes had already been filed, his filing would be rejected. His electronic filing was not rejected. I received an email the next day confirming my taxes were filed. I have already received my refund. So my fears were confirmed, my taxes were prepared but not filed by Mrs. ********************** back in March. Thank you for your time.

    On March 18, 2022 I had my taxes prepared by E. **************************************************** I was due a refund from Federal for $2034 and owed $46 to *****************. I paid $200 for this service. I find out the ***************** has not received a return for 2020 and 2021, although they did receive my check for $46 - the amount due from my 2021 taxes. I have called, faxed, emailed and visited the office. The first time I was able to catch her in the office she told me it was a backlog at the **** I have not been able to catch her in the office after multiple attempts.
