    I purchased a used washer and took it home, hooked it up and it did not appear to be operating correctly. It was taking a very long time to start the cycle after locking and unlocking and locking again the lid, short burst of water then stopping and making numerous clicking sounds with long pauses afterwords. I called Green's and explained what the washer was doing and was told that was all normal and not to worry about it. I pressed the issue a little more and was never asked to bring it back in or offering to have someone look it. After the machine was out of the 30 day warranty by about 30 days, it quit working. I called a certified technician to come out and look at it and explained what it was doing when I first hooked it. He told me that was NOT normal operation for this machine. He said it was most likely the main operating board, but he wanted to check the washer shift actuator and had one that he put in to test. It still did not work. It would cost more to replace the board than what I paid for the machine. I was apparently given FALSE information by Green's about the washer's operation in an attempt to get me past the warranty period. These people are crooked and I would NEVER buy anything from them again.
