    On 3-30-24 I paid a deposit for painting interior window casings, baseboard, trim, door casings. The verbal agreement was that the job would start the week of April 8, 2024. After a delay due to another job I was told by text message to job would start Thursday or Friday 18 or 19 so on the 17th my husband and i moved all of our furniture/appliances away from the walls/out of the house and took doors off the hinges. They didn't show up and on Tuesday two people came for part of the day. Since then our project has been pushed back and the business has not shown up several times when scheduled to work. on several occasions only one unskilled worker would be at my home doing skilled labored and it was done poorly. I feel we gave a lot of ***** for the delays in the beginning but after multiple times of no shows for various reasons including "slept in" there was some tension. I stayed in a hotel a couple of nights after they told us they would be there so they could spray paint and they didn't show up one of those days. We had family coming last week so we asked them to be done by then and *** stated they would be multiple times. they weren't. after some direct, clear, concise communication of our dissatisfaction *** stated they would be here this week of May 13 to finish the crank out windows but yet again he messaged us at 8:43pm last night saying they would instead be working on someone else's project that they started last week. We asked him if he could commit to may ***** and after initially saying yes, he said he would be out of town then. I've had to postpone other projects due to this dragging on. we've asked them several times to use the large trash bin provided and clean up after themselves but they have left wet sponges on our new floor in puddles on water, spilled soda on the floor and not picked it up, left doors unlocked even after being provided a key to lock up. Today i changed my plan on a work obligation to come let him in and he is pushing back on it
