      I bought a 2008 ****** Outback from Snyder Motors on 7/16/2022 with my wife for $4700 ($300 down and $4400 financed through intrepid credit union). On 8/16/2022 my engine blew. During purchase, I was told that a extended warranty would not be worth the price on a cheap older car by ***** a sales representative. I called Snyder motors on 6/18/2022 and talked to salesman **** to see what they could do for me, and they said they would only give a $1500 trade in for a new vehicle and that I would have to carry the remaining balance onto a new loan and also pay for the car to get towed about an hour and a half. I also told them on the phone that I was advised by a friend to contact the BBB, to which they replied that I dont want to do that and it would be a waste of time. I talked to a friend of mine named ***********************, and he suggested to call them back and see if they would fix it or be willing to meet me on a better solution, so he called in my behalf to talk to the *** The only other solution they came up with was to source an engine and charge me the purchase price on an engine to replace the blown one. I called back today 8/24/2022 and talked to *********************** the General Manager and he said that they are having a hard time finding a used motor and a new one would cost me about $6,000 for a new one. I was also told by *********************** that they were hesitant to even give me a $1500 trade in because I am causing problems for them after i mentioned there has to be a better solution to the problem. Once I told *********************** that I was going to talk to **** again and reach out to the BBB and possibly Small Claims Court, **** replied that because I brought up Court that the companies lawyers advised him to end all conversations and then he hung up.

      ******************* purchased a 2008 ****** Outback with ******* miles from us on 07/13/2022. He was informed when purchasing the vehicle that it was sold as is with no warranty. He was also offered the opportunity to purchase a vehicle service contract to help him pay for potential repairs that may
      arise after purchase.

      Snyder Motors values all of our customers and we work hard to put everyone in a vehicle that runs well and has no major problems; however, we do not know what is going to happen to a vehicle when it leaves our store. There is no way to guarantee any vehicle.

      We understand this is a frustrating situation for everyone. That is why we offered Mr. *********;
      several fair solutions to help him with this unfortunate situation. He was unsatisfied with the solutions offered and threatened the dealership with litigation and proceeded to brigade our online platforms with negative reviews. Based on these actions , we are under the counsel of our attorneys not to take any
      further action since we have surpassed the point of reaching an amicable solution with *************

      I am rejecting this response because: I was told at time of sale by ***** that a warranty would not be worth it.

      Sincerely,
