      On April 28th 2024 I used Glacier Jeep Rental to rent a car for a trip to ******* at the end of July. I received a rental agreement in my email and they took the funds from my account (1658$) for a 9 day rental. I called on the phone just to make sure everything (pick up and drop off locations, days and times) was good and I left a voicemail and never heard back. I never heard from them accept for the initial confirmation email. 10 days before my trip I called them again but their voicemail box was full. I then emailed them to confirm the agreement (even though it was already in writing). They called me an hour after this email and told me that they couldnt accommodate my drop off location and that there were a local company, not a corporation and that I didnt understand because Im from the big city of ******. At the end of the call the woman I spoke with told me I could keep the reservation if if was local. My travel companion and I decided it was still worth it to have a Jeep for the two days we were in the area and luckily we were able to find another rental car for the remaining week. We ended up paying a lot more for that rental car because it was last minute. Glacier Jeep rental had our rental agreement and money for two months before I heard from them about it not working out. Then, when I tried to go from the 9 day reservation to two days, I would email the company asking for official cost and refund information and all they would do was text me an excuse. Regardless of the validity of these excuses, I would have expected a professional experience as this was not a cheap transaction and them seem to have been around a while. Either way without the confirmation I decided to go elsewhere with my business and have requested a full refund. They are refusing to return 56$ worth of the 1650$ cost.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and while I do not find that this resolution is satisfactory as I did not receive the missing 56$, I no longer wish to spend any more time on this.
