On February 13, 2024, Better Business Bureau investigated Harmon Trailer’s and Coopers Gain Gallery’s business practices. This investigation was prompted by a Scam Tracker report alleging that a consumer attempted to make an online purchase from Harmon Trailer, they signed a contract, paid a downpayment, and never received the trailer. BBB received a Scam Tracker report for Coopers Gain Gallery that shared similar details with the Harmon Trailers Scam Tracker report.
BBB found three websites for Harmon Trailers (https://harmontrailers.com/, https://harmontrailerssales.com/, and https://harmontrailersales.com/) and a website for Coopers Gain Gallery (https://coopersgaingallery.com/) that advertises one of the same phone numbers. All four websites advertise the same business location. BBB visited the reported business location and found that the address is incomplete.
On February 12, 2024, BBB checked the websites to determine when they were created and where they were registered. The website https://harmontrailers.com/ was created on July 6, 2023, and is registered in Iceland. The website https://harmontrailerssales.com/ was created on July 22, 2023, and is also registered in Iceland. The website https://harmontrailersales.com/ was created on July 20, 2023, and is registered in Bay Shore, New York. The website https://coopersgaingallery.com/ was created on March 1, 2023, and is registered in Tempe, Arizona.
According to Montana Secretary of State, businesses operating in Montana need to be registered with the Secretary of State. Both Harmon Trailers and Coopers Gain Gallery do not have a Montana registration. On February 26, 2024, BBB attempted to contact Harmon Trailer by emailing [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected] and Coopers Gain Gallery by emailing [email protected] requesting information about the Scam Tracker allegations and their business practices. To date, BBB has not received a response.
