I was able to see significant discounts on hotels, resorts, cruises, and morefar below what you would typically find on public travel sites. Ive done the math, and these savings really do add up, making vacations more affordable without sacrificing ********** while I havent booked my own trip just yet, the research Ive done has given me confidence in HappiTravel. 5 starsMy husband and I celebrated our anniversary and were planning a trip to *********** for a weekend getaway, we decided to sign up for HappiTravel to see if we could save money on our trip. BEST decision ever! We saved over $100 and made our annual membership fee back in just ONE booking, and no we can save on all future trip! We are already planning our next getaway for next month! My experience has been disappointing and quite complicated. Here's why:1. The website is quite buggy and not very intuitive. For example, to view any option (car, hotel, etc.), you have to click on "book" to view the deal, then go back to the search page, which lands you at the very top instead of where you left off.2. I made a reservation for a hotel and wanted to cancel it. I was still within the deadline to get a full refund. Well, it's quite shady that you, as the customer, can't cancel. You submit a request, and two days later, someone reaches out. In my case, I requested the cancelation on the 9th, the deadline for a full refund was the 10th, and on the 11th in the late afternoon, they reached out saying I was already outside the refund window and wouldn't get a refund. It's a super misleading and unethical practice.3. The discounts are often minimal, like frequently only $3 per booking. 4. **************** is friendly and the only pro I found. However, they take a long time to fix an issue.In my experience, paying $100 membership fee doesn't meet at all your needs. I wouldn't and won't use this service again, not even for free!

Sorry to hear your experience was less than fantastic! Yours is the only negative review in 3+ years and 10,000's of users so we would very much like the opportunity to look further into the details (please submit a support ticket so we can do that). But in general, 1) thats the nature of wholesale travel, detailed rates can only be determined once you have major full selection. Sometimes it can be an extra step, but typically with savings well over 50% its worth it. 2) Cancellation terms vary depending on the property and are dictated by the hotel and are out of our control. Thats why we make sure to list all of the details before you make a reservation. 3) Wholesale rates depend on the property and date, but it's not at all unusual to see up to 80% or more as widely reported by other customers. 4) People do rave about our live 24/7 customer support.
