DO NOT WASTE MONEY AND TIME GETTING MARRIED HERE.To start off, the price increase between the 2022 and 2023 menu was ridiculously high. The 6 oz steak went from $41 to $68. 66% increase. The salmon went from $38 to $56 47% increase . Street tacos went from $6/guest to $16 166% increase per *************** went from $8.50 to $10. 17% increase. Because of that, we wanted to cancel our deposit with you guys but got denied because we weren't eligible for a refund. My communication with the lodge and planning was TERRIBLE. It was hard to get a response from ********. Weeks would go by with no reasponse. I had met with ***** for a food tasting and half of the items that were discussed with *****, were not transcribed to ********. With that, there was a lot of miscommunication/missed items. ***** had mentioned that we could possibly do plated steak tacos and it took about 3 weeks to get a response from the chef, ***** and ********. For room bookings, multiple wedding guests had told us that they booked the last room, when 15+ rooms were booked after these comments. Guests had difficulty booking rooms as they had to call and get with group coordinator in order to receive the group discount. It took my parents a week to get a response. We had over 30 rooms booked for the weekend. The week of the wedding, my day coordinator had told me she did not hear back from ******** about the timeline. So the week of the wedding, ******** is emailing me saying we cannot be in the state room early due to a wedding party from Friday and also, we need to change times on the rehearsal practice because of the wedding on Friday. I felt that I was not being accommodated and I am not sure why I kept hearing about someone else's wedding.During the wedding: The state room never received the cheese plate that was in the contract. Also, there were never apps plated at mine and my husbands seats, per contract. There were 9 guests that did not make it to the wedding, so there were some plates left over. I heard from multiple people, including my parents, and my husbands parents that your staff was asking guests if an empty seat was coming/present and some staff were taking the plated meals. Regardless, if that person was missing, we had paid for 92 plates. In the contract, it said food cannot be packaged so I am not understanding why the staff wasn't placing all the plates that we paid for. We paid $10/cocktail during the wedding and I got reviews from guests that the drinks were not being served per shot, actually less. I understand that the venue is allowed to cut someone off but I was frustrated to hear that we were paying per cocktail and the drinks were being under poured and no one was cut off.The head table food was COLD. Mine and my husbands steaks were not warm at all. The Lodge provides this plated service and I was disappointed to find out everyone's plate at the head table was cold. For the amount of $ spent on food, this was another thing added to my disappointed list.I would not recommend getting married here. Our group has been targeted even tho there were 5 other weddings the same weekend as our. We come to a wedding to celebrate with friends and family, its called a party!Overall the experience here was not good. I will never go back and will never recommend this place to anyone!
