On 12/12/22 I sent 2 IPhone 11 Pros to Buymypod. They told me they received them on 12/16/22 and would be processing my payment for them. I was promised a total of $506 for the 2 phones. I emailed them on 1/6/23 to ask about my payment. They replied that they finished processing my phones and I would be receiving my payment in 3-6 business days. This was to be sent by check. On 1/18/23 I texted them and again requested payment. I offered to request it through PayPal as ******* asked if hey could send payment through a cash app. He then sent a picture of a **** label created to be sent to me. I have checked the tracking on this label, believing they were sending me a check. So far the label only shows it was created and the time on it is 11:18 PM on 1/18/23. Tracking number:9400136106089333685465.I would like my check for $506 to be sent to my address immediately and an apology for their little or no response to my inquiries.I do not recommend anyone to do business with this company. I believe they are operating a scam and should be investigated for criminal activity over the internet.I hope this can be resolved successfully and that you will warn others of their activity, especially email fraud division.Initial Complaint

Mailed my sons iPhone 7 to the Company on 12-18-22. Records show they did not enter my info until 12-29-22. Unsure why there was a delay. Emailed them on 1-5-23, then texted on 1-9-24, and finally received a response that Phonecheck did a report on 12-20-22 and it showed my phone in a lot worse condition than I could see. I had never received this report until they texted a PDF copy to me 1-12-23. So I asked what the next step was as their website is not showing all the dates and responses? No reply! I then asked for a response of what happens now, am I going to get my phone back. Several days passed. I even said I would pay for the return of my phone. They replied with that they would pay me $22 rather than $30. Still have not received payment or any communication so I told them I would be lodging a complaint by 1-20-23. I did this on behalf of my son who wanted to use this money for Christmas gifts for his siblings. I also asked for $25 rather than $22. I fear that he will not be receiving payment or his phone back. I submitted my used iPad to them in mid-October 2022 after filling out their form honestly and getting an online quote of $64. On October 27 I received an email from "*************************************" claiming to be their general manager offering me only $40, and despite feeling somewhat cheated I emailed accepting the offer. On November 9 I followed up with ******* because I had no ****** *** received an email telling me to expect payment within "3-6 days depending on recipient location". I have never received payment & 2 more follow *** to ******* have gone unanswered. On January 5 this year I reached out via text as they do not offer a phone option requesting either payment or return of my device in the same condition it was sent, & the reply was "Hi ****, This is *******. I will make sure this is completed today. Sincerely, *******". I never received payment nor the device, nor any other communication. I texted again yesterday with no reply. All I want is the agreed-upon $40 or return of the device in the condition in which it was sent. Anything else is **************Initial Complaint

Sent my iPhone into BuyMyPod in November. Was originally offered $110 for my phone. After inspection, they reduced the offer to $95, which I was fine with.Two days later, they backed out on their offer of $95 (even though I had immediately accepted their first offer) and reduced the offer to $47. I rejected their second offer and asked them to return the phone. I never received a response.Two months have passed and I haven't received my phone back nor a check for their offer. I've texted three times, emailed twice, and even called directly. No responses. Really disappointing customer service. Stay away from **********************!Initial Complaint

I have sent in my iphone on Nov 13th, it was in perfect condition, no crack whatsoever. And on the BuyMyPod website, they claimed they will send me a $76 check once they checked my iphone. But after two weeks, they never responded to me with any update. After I contacted them, they told me the phone was cracked, and only can offer me a much lower price, then I just ask them to send me my iphone back, which is guaranteed on their webiste, but then they never respond back on this demand. Afterwards, I contacted them mulitple times through the text number listed on their website, and they sometimes would respond that they will resolve it, and send me the check, but after I ask them if they have sent it or not, they ignored me again. The last time I receive their text back to me was Dec 28th, and ignore me again.Initial Complaint

I sent in an Apple 16gb iPhone 6s to sell to the company. I was quoted that I would be paid $12 for the device. The device was received at the company on 11/29/22 (I received and email stating they received it). It says on the website after receiving the device they will check the condition for 1-2 days and then send out payment within 24 hours of that. It is now almost a month later and the status has not changed and I have not received my payment. I contacted the company on 12/19/22 (via text which is what they say to do on their website). I informed them of the issue and asked for status update. I was told they will update it today. I asked for an estimate for when I would receive payment and they did not answer me. On 12/21/22 I texted again asking for status about payment. They responded Hello, I will make sure this is sent today asap. However since then nothing was changed on the status of my order on the website so I texted again on 12/22/22 and 12/23/22 asking again for a status of payment and they have stopped responding. I also sent a request for an email response on 12/26/22 which I have not heard back from. I have emails and screenshots of all text messages of our correspondence.Initial Complaint

I sent an iPhone 7 Plus to buymypod and recvd conformation on nov 3 2022 that it was recvd. They said it was only worth $60 which I did not agree with but accepted. I have made several emails and text messages to them and the last text from them said I would recvd $ within 2 to 3 days. That was on dec 12 2022. I have still not recvd pmt or anymore correspondence even though I have sent them messages.
