    Retained services of law firm to handle probate estate case. After being advised inadequately and being passed from one paralegal to another repeatedly I was forced to seek other legal counsel. Paid firm for services that were not provided. Have requested refund but have not been provided with answer or overpaid funds. Would like to be refunded in the amount of ******* or more for services not provided.

    Our firm completed all terms of our representation agreement which was signed and acknowledged by the complainant. We had a fixed fee, earned upon receipt representation, completed the full scope of our agreed upon services, and no refund or return or funds is warranted.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Firm did not complete agreed upon terms. Firm was to finish probate estate case. Firm stopped responding to client. Firm continued cases without clients knowledge. **** barely completed half of agreed upon terms. Firm breached contract by providing information to outside parties.

    Allegations are categorically false. We completed all aspects of our scope possible and weren't provided by the complainant documentation necessary to file the final pleading required. Engagement was fixed fee, earned upon receipt and complied with all aspects of the representation agreement.
