      I took my car to Take 5 on July 30, 2024, to get an oil change before a planned trip. The next day, I drove to Dallas and parked my car without any issues. The following morning, I moved the car to my Aunt's driveway for a short time before going out of town with my aunt in her car to visit my mother. A day later, my cousin informed me that all the oil had leaked from my car and was all over their driveway. When I told my dad that I had the oil change at Take 5, he explained that they had forced the drain plug back in, which resulted in stripping the oil pan.

      I reached out to Take 5 in Humble, and they submitted a claim. My car was then towed to Meineke for assessment. Their diagnostic revealed that there was no oil in the vehicle and the oil pan was stripped, causing damage to the turbo engine. Fleet Response, the third-party claims handler for Take 5, denied my claim, stating that Take 5 doesn't use the oil drain plug to drain the oil; instead, they use the dipstick. The representative I spoke with, Mallory, was unprofessional and rude. Upon contacting Meineke, they suggested seeking legal advice because they confirmed that BMWs don't have dipsticks, and the oil drain plug must be used for draining the oil from my vehicle. When I called Take 5 again, they admitted that BMWs don't have dipsticks and that the oil drain plug should have been used.

      At this point, Fleet Response is giving me the runaround, and I'm currently waiting to speak with a supervisor. Dealing with Fleet Response has been a terrible experience. Based on my experience, I strongly advise against taking your vehicle to Take 5 for an oil change, unless you want your engine damaged. Additionally, dealing with Fleet Response is equally frustrating. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by both Take 5 and Fleet Response.

      My name is *************************** and I've been getting my oil changed the last 3 years ate the same location off ************ in ************. Never had any issues. My recent visit was on Aug 9 2024. Apparently when they change the oil they are not taking the cover guard completely off. After my visit on my way I always back my truck in the drive way. On this day I heard a roaring sound as I was backing up. I look under the truck and noticed the cover guard was hanging down. Only the top 2 bolts were attached. There are only four bolts to keep the guard attached. Once I removed the splash guard I notice that the shield was bent on the front. Basically they took the back two bolts out and pulled the guard down to remove the oil filter and did not re attach them properly. So I went back to the store off ************ in ************ . I spoke with the manager name ***** he wouldn't give me his last name and voiced my concerns. I brought my old splash guard with me to show him how bent it was. Of course he denied everything I said. They were the last ones to remove the guard . Ive been trying to contact corporate but can't get answer or a voicemail. That part with shipping was $227.

      *** went to the one Richland and they did both cars my2014 ********* blew and my ******************* was making a loud noises and engine died out do not go!!!!!

      I stopped to get an oil change on 7/22 in *********, **. The technicians that serviced my vehicle were ************** I get home, park the car for a few days then notice it has a bad oil leak. Pulled the dip stick out and the oil is low. Checked the next day and theres no oil in the car. Their mistake is costing me $653.80 on top of the $120 I paid for the oil change. Either ****** or **** stripped the factory drain plug and inserted an oversized drain plug to cover their mistake. Of course they didnt tell us this occurred. Take 5 refuses to return my phone call. I get a call saying that the claim was denied. They are trying to claim that the ****** dealership that changed the oil 2/6/24 is responsible. HOW? The technician that did the oil change called me and took accountability for the mistake. Explaining step by step what his mistake was and how he was at fault. He never said the wrong drain plug was used prior to him changing it or anything of that nature. Theres also no appeal process with Take 5. So now its time to get a lawyer. This is ridiculous!

      Pulled in at 6 pm at night told inspection person leaves at 2 pm everyday. Returned on Saturday 6 cars in line. Told to pull of to shade area since I was on a motorcycle. Waited 45 minutes was about to leave after seeing 4 other vehicles come after me get in and serviced for oil changes. When I called them out on it the manager told me I was a lair and had not been waiting that long and I could go somewhere else to get my inspection. Manager is unprofessional, rude and condescending to customers

      The ****** is check your inspection report before you leave the location. My mileage was grossly overstated on the report by 62K. My husbands truck mileage overstated by 25K. This information is entered on a state database. When insurance renewal came around they assessed an extra $500 to our renewal premium for over excessive mileage. Between us we supposedly racked up approximately 90K miles in a year. Try working with the insurance company to get that fixed. When confronted the manager/tech said he sometimes gets his numbers mixed up. Wrong profession dude. No apology. No response from customer service. This amounts to pure fraud!! Id give them a zero star rating if I could.

      Beware of sneaky fees and snake oil salesman. ****** the supposed "manager" was angry and vindictive when I questioned the surcharge placed on my services. He was unable to make a decision and called his supervisor. It was extraordinarily unprofessional and amateurish. I will not be back. They left me unattended for 30 minutes inside a bay. He even threatened to call the cops! Update: ****** called the cops! And this was over a $5 charge. Remarkable. The company conducts business by calling the cops!

      On June 29, 2024 I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, It was recommended that I get a coolant exchange as well after some applied coupons I agreed and the total was $209.24. I received oil change and coolant exchange. The next day June 30, 2024 I take a road trip about 2 hours from home and the car starts overheating and cuts off. Several people stopped to help and noticed that the Radiator cap was not on and there was a liquid/oily substance covering everything under the hood and the car would no longer start. I called Take 5 at ***************************** *********, La. where the service was done and explained to them what was happening, the young man stated that they were looking at their cameras and then proceeded to give me an 800# for ***** Services to start a claim and have the vehicle towed. The vehicle was diagnosed at 2 different facilities and it was noted that the radiator cap was left off cause issues with the Head gasket, I was told that the engine would need to be replaced. after going back and forth with ***** Services for nearly 2 weeks, let alone being inconvenienced with no car and a WASTED $209, I was told that "A VIDEO" was looked at and no one touched the radiator cap. (when I specifically remember the guy with dreads pouring something in there) Take 5 is not claiming ownership of the damages and there is no appeals. I then asked that the video be sent to me and upon agreement the Rep. ************** stated that she'd send it in 2 mins. I then received and email stating that the video was too long to send and would need to be edited to do so. I am still waiting for the video and even then I don't trust that their mistake was not EDITED from the video. As of today the vehicle sits at a dealership about 2 hours from my home with no resolve to the matter. I NEED HELP!!!!

      OIL CHANGE MESSED UP MY CAR- NO LONGER DRIVES BECAUSE THE OIL WAS WAY TOO THIN AND STILL DIRTY. Never coming here again. *** filed a complaint but its been passed 48 hrs and no one has come to my house to assess my car. Ive missed school and clinicals due to this problem. Im fed up and will take legal actions if nothing is done.
