1 starWe are in the process of closing our account with **********************. It has been a horrible experience with this bank as a small business. Every check from your customers gets a minimum of a seven day hold. Their rates for credit card transactions are among the highest in the country. Mobile deposits are limited and they literally charge you for depositing money into your account mobily after a very minimal amount every month. Their customer service folks actually just straight lie to you and offer no help. When you go into one of their branches their branch managers will straight tell you that if they do anything to actually help you they take a chance on getting fired. A very toxic bank to do business with and obviously to work for. ********** has offered much better rates and check deposits are deposited to your account the next day. Plus they don't charge you money for putting deposits into your account.Review fromMar S

I am a business owner and have a business account at ******. A few weeks ago I was out of town and realized that the employee checks did not go through B of A as anticipated. I wanted to make sure they were paid on time so I checked the fees for a wireless same day transfer and the site said -Fee= 0. No fee, so I went ahead and checked wireless for 20 checks. Immediately I received an Email from B of A that said the wireless was processed- Fee: Free. The next day I see that B of A charged me $25.00 for each of 20 checks, totalling $500.00. I complained by phone and they refused to remove the charge and then I went directly to the bank manager who also was not helpful. I am a small business and cant believe the bank would take $500 out of my account when every piece of communication I looked at said the wireless transfer was free. To other customers at B of A: BEWARE, they will deduct fees from your account, even when you had no idea those fees would be charged. They need to change their website to let people know that there is a fee for a wireless same day transfer. The amount should be right there for all to see and it is not. If I could give a o star review I would. I feel like B of A stole $500.00 from my small business account. As a small business every ***** counts and this is just not OK.Bank of America

Their ATM machine ate my husbands bank card. Tried to get a replacement and they canceled both our cards. Instead of just his. Branch wont help and defers you to call center. Agent somehow merged my husbands information in my profile, so when replacement card was sent, it was in my husbands name, not mine. Waited to see if mine would come, but never did. Called the call center and waited 30 minutes and explained my situation. Representative explained error made by previous representative had merged my husbands information into my profile. Ordered my card. Was advised would not cancel my husbands card. Husband goes to use card and its canceled. Now we both dont have cards again! Called back the 800# and its the same story, theyre sorry and itll take a few days to get it. They charge you an expedited fee. If I want it credited back, I have to call back AGAIN and wait thirty minutes again. They try to push their digital card agenda. Im sorry, but not everyone accepts digital payments yet. Why cant the branches issue replacement cards? Why do they feel its acceptable to keep asking their customer to wait? Ive waited a month! Three calls no card! Two different agent's messed up and the third could care less. Horrible horrible service!Bank of America

I have banked with **** for nearly 10 years. I decided to get an auto loan through them since I had never had any issues with them. During the process, I was given the wrong information more times than I was given the correct information. They wasted my time, and wouldn't call back regarding the documentation I submitted. I had to call to be sure there were no mistakes with the paperwork. After nearly 10 days of calling every day and having different information given to me each day, I finally decided to cancel the auto loan application. I was able to go through a credit union and have my loan approved and contracted within 1 hour. Unfortunately, this experience is the reason I will be closing my accounts with BofA and banking elsewhere.Bank of America

There is nothing about this organization that they should be claiming to offer service or financial services, without question the worst I have seen in all my years of banking. They have 1 star rating on multiple review platforms, they have certainly earnt it.Bank of America

Quise sacar mis rewards points por un total de 2600 dlares y no me dejaron sacarlos se quedaron con mi dinero. Aparte me cerraron mis tarjetas de crdito sin razn alguna de la noche a la maana. Son unos abusadores cerrar mis cuentas personales y de negocios 7 aos trabajando con Bank of America como Banco Principal y no les import la buena relacin nunca tuve un pago tarde y ms **** solicitaba prstamos con Uds. Su atencin al cliente es psimo y pudiera decir que hasta mal me trataron por ser Latino. Increble como hasta la fecha exista el mal trato hacia las personasBank of America

Fri 2.28.25 at 12:30pm tried to deposit $3000 @ ATM near ****, MD. Machine "canceled transaction" did NOT give deposit back, did NOT give a receipt of cancelation (so no pic of receipt) & did NOT credit my account. Immediately called #, was on hold(ignore) for total 45 minutes. Left car @ ATM spot, went into bank while on hold/ignore with ************ Was told by 2 different bank employees that the money could/would NOT be ejected from machine, NOTHING the bank employee could do, except call same # I was already on hold/ignore with. After holding/ignored for 45 MINUTES, ****** in CA told me that it would take TWO business days(Tues 3.4.25). I explained this was unacceptable, he placed an escalation on claim, I should have resolution by Fri/Sat---NO resolution Fri, Sat or Sun and BONUS the claim office closed on ********** Called again MON 3.3.25 830am, now told TEN(10) to FORTY-FIVE(45) business days for resolution. Immediately requested a supervisor, Kyatera in **, was absolutely NO help, will NOT credit my account or return my $ from their faulty equipment. Physical safety concerns prohibit/deter me making daily deposits (bartender/server work evenings, late/dark when i get off) MOST ATMs are not in safe areas at night. This is for $3000, NOT $100. Anyone dealing with cash KNOWS that you can Immediately audit your drawer for discrepancy. *** knows by now (3 days later) that the machine is OVER by this amount. The reason for machine failure is not my problem, machine failure audit should not prohibit return of $. They need to credit my acct and audit machine failure LATER. If roles were reversed & they deposited $3000 to me in error, it would NOT take 45 days to withdraw that error! I've been a *** acct holder for 17 yrs with multiple accts(2 chk, 2 sav), I will be changing banking institutions when I receive my funds. I am beyond disappointed, dismayed and disgruntled with their lack of corrective response/action to this BOA error.Bank of America

I tried calling customer service after searching for any number that would be helpful. Then, I was hung up on 3x from their automated service. I FINALLY got into a queue for a callback. Ridiculous and horrible. Can't email and get an answer, cannot get an online chat unless it is the App... I don't need more apps. I need a HUMAN BEING that can answer an actual QUESTION. NOT some trash AI that cannot compute and hang up on me multiple times. (3/2/2025)Bank of America

my wife and I have been with bank of america for 25 years never had any issues. untill recently, I had a large amount of money basically stolen from me by a law firm ***************************** in *************, when I disputed the charges they did not help me at all. So by the end of the year 2025 We will be fully switched to a new Financial institution. Good Bye *** and thanks for nothing!Bank of America
