      The employee at the car wash entrance offered me to have unlimited car washed for 1 monh for $17. The day I purchased a car wash. I agreed. I was never told this would be a recurring charge. I had a tag put on my care that I believed was good for 30 days I have had a recurring monthly charge ever since. My COMPLAINT is that I have requested in writing to cancel this and received no answer. When I call it tells me to go to their website. I cannot ever get a human on the phone. When I tap the link to cancel in the terms and conditions it states page not availableThey continue to take my money despite there being a cancel anytime policy. I requested in writing to stop charging my card and cannot get anyone to cancel my membership. I demand they are contacted. They have levy me with no other choice than to claim fraud and report them. It is 100% import reach them, I e en included my RFID on my written request. I want my charges for the months I have been trying to cancel and I want proof of my cancellation.

      - I have a subscription to Take 5 Car Wash - March 19, 2025; around 2:42pm; I went to get my truck washed - Location: Take 5 Car Wash, ************************************* - While in the car wash, my driver side truck mirror popped out, hit the driver door and fell to the ground; at that time, I had had the truck less than one year (2024 Chevy Silverado RST)- An employee of the car wash was a witness and there is also a camera - I spoke to the employee about the damage and she stated there was someone who just adjusted the pressure on the dryer higher which could be the reason that happened; she gave me a card with contact information for the damage - I have created an online ticket with the company; called the number on the card, and emailed - On April 25, *** ******** (car wash customer care) sent me an email stating he escalated this to the district manager - Without looking into the matter or speaking to me, Take 5 Car Wash determined they were not responsible for the damage to my truck mirror or the damage done to my driver side truck door - I disagree and need help please

At this time, we have determined this factual evidence does not support a claim of damage caused by the service at Take 5 Car Wash.
      The facts of this claims denial are as follows:
       
      After further review, there was no equipment failure or employee error therefore, we are unable to accept liability of this damage. Our equipment is regularly inspected and designed to avoid causing this type of damage.

      Went through the car wash at approximately 330 on 4/30/25 in ***********, ****. Just after the mats hit my windshield I received a large crack from the upper middle of my windshield that moved into the driver's field of vision. I immediately pulled around and filed a report. Pictures were taken by the attendant at the time. The customer service responded 5 days later that after reviewing their camera footage their equipment was not faulty. I asked if there was a camera when I pulled in because you could clearly see I did not have a crack upon entering the car wash. They stated the complaint was closed and they were not liable. I am now responsible for a $500 deductible on my own insurance to replace the windshield. I have since cancelled mine and my husband's membership due to poor customer service.

      There was no crack when I entered the car wash.  Your meticulous review would how that if a camera was at the front of the wash.  It occurred after the first set of mats hit my windshield.  The attendant took better pictures that were forwarded with the report.

      On March 27, 2025 at approximately 6:45pm I went to the Take 5 / Car Wash express located at **************************************. We entered the car wash and halfway through our car came to a stop as the machinery started to rip off our Thule cargo box. We honked the horn for about 3-5 minutes to try to get an attendant to help. Meanwhile my 4 week old infant started to scream and my wife was forced to exit the vehicle, through the wet roller brush, and into the entry point. The attendees were surprised to see her and were distracted by loud music, and one of them appeared to be holding a small pot pipe in their hand earlier in the process when we entered. Nobody was monitoring the videos or paying attention to the activity within the wash. We then were directed to exit the car wash in reverse. Upon exit the ***resentative was very friendly and apologized for the occurrence, stating that his colleague forgot to turn off the top roller. He filled out some paperwork and told us that we would be reimbursed for the destroyed racks and dent in the roof. I have talked to the *** multiple times, and on every occasion I've been informed that they've turned this claim into their insurance company, and that I would be contacted shortly. This has not yet happened. I have saved the destroyed parts and then paperwork from the *** states that video has been archived of the incident.

      Thank you for the quick response, although I'm concerned that this will not be sufficient. I was told to contact **** *****, District Manager at ************. I have left ~ 10 messages for ****, with zero response. Was I provided an incorrect phone number? It would be helpful to know the correct person and contact number to reach them at so we can quickly get this resolved.

      I am reaching out in regard to the alleged issue with our car wash. How things work within our company is we have a disclaimer that is posted multiple times on site stating we are not responsible for damages to aftermarket products. This is posted before the wash so that customers are aware the aftermarket products installed to their vehicles may very well cause a damage due to our wash being built to service standard vehicle features. This customer was made aware of that fact prior to washing and unfortunately his luggage rack got caught in our top brush damaging his property. We retract all brushes on aftermarket products to do our best to prevent damages. With that said, we still filled out a damage claim on site with this customer and submitted as we do with all damage claims. Based on our investigation, this damage wouldn't have occurred if the aftermarket product wasn't present at the time of the wash. This fact resulted in a denial on liability from the claim. Our team reached out to the customer who refused to accept our conclusion which landed him here with you on the BBB.

      I canceled my membership and they refuse to give me a refund for the unused membership. The manager claims the vehicle was washed the day the memberships were canceled, however the car was at a repair shop from April 6th on. When asked which vehicle was washed he refused to give me the information

      The car wash took off my driver side back window visor all the rest of my visors are still on my truck.I know 100% that the visor was on my truck when I went to into the car wash because I had to close my windows. I was at Kroger's before I went to the car wash and always leave my windows down a little bit to put air in my truck so I had to close them and I always look at them and it was there. I did not check it after I left the car wash because I never had her pollen before and this was the fourth time I went through their car wash. After the car wash I went right home. They denied my claim so I'm canceling my memberships but I want them to replace the visor that was taken off my truck by their equipment.

      Regarding the damage claim, we do encourage all customers to report any concerns or incidents before leaving the premises so we can conduct a proper inspection and determine whether the damage occurred due to equipment malfunction or any wash-related issue. Unfortunately, without notification at the time of your visit, we are unable to verify the cause or timing of the damage you described.
      As noted on the signage at our wash entrance, our damage policy does not cover OEM installed after-market equipment, including items such as visors, under normal washing conditions.
      While we are unable to accept liability in this case, we do want to acknowledge your dissatisfaction. As a gesture of goodwill, we have issued a full refund of $82.00 $41 for your original sign-up on 3/31/25 and $41 for the recharge on 4/28/25.
      We appreciate you giving our membership a try, and we are genuinely sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Should you have any further questions or if there is anything else we can do, please dont hesitate to reach out.

      On March 13th 1025 around 11:45 A.M. I used the take 5 car wash. After the wash I noticed right away scratches all the down the passenger side of my car. I then filled out a claim with 2 employees on seen. They took pictures of the damage as well as myself. I was told someone would contact me within a week to discuss the situation further and that they will submit the claim. After waiting a couple weeks I reached out to customer service and asked them what is taking so long and how do I co tact someone. They gave me an email address to contact them and I sent multiple emails about the situation. After not hearing anything from anyone another 2 weeks I went back to the car wash and spoke with the employees. They said there was nothing they could do and gave me the email address for the person that is responsible for all claims for that store. I then emailed that person several times about what's happened. She did not reply and have not been contacted in almost 2 months. If I do not hear anything soon, I will be persuing a civil law suite for damages.

      I am rejecting this response because: No one has reached out to me about solving the issues and damages. Saying someone will contact me does not fix the issue. I have been waiting months to hear from someone. Its not hard for someone to call and fix the situation. I will follow up again in a few days. If I do not hear from anyone I will be forced to proceed legally.

      On March 2 2025 I went for a wash at a local Take 5 Car Wash. The attendant informed me that I could sign up for a membership for the same price as the wash with the ability to cancel any time. I planned to only have this membership for the month of March 2025 while the pollen in my area was bad. I tried to cancel my membership prior to April 2 2025 to avoid another payment, but the website continually had errors, and I ultimately gave ***** late April 2025 I tried again to cancel my membership online, still facing errors from the site. On May 1 2025 I was finally successful in cancelling my membership online before being billed on May 2 2025. I received an email (attached) confirming that my membership had successfully been cancelled on May 1 2025. To my surprise, I was charged $22.00 on May 2 2025 by Take 5 Car Wash (attached). When I attempted to call the customer service line to deal with the issue quickly, I was directed by an automated message to the website contact form. There was no live chat option either - in the middle of the business day. I put "URGENT" in the subject line and stated in the email that I expected a swift response as I am not rich, was wrongfully charged, and I need that money back. It's now been over 48 hours with no update, and after reading other BBB review, I am sure this is the only way I will get a response.This company's faulty website and lack of customer support options prevented me from cancelling my membership before being billed in April 2025 and charged me even after finally allowing me to cancel in May 2025. This is disappointing and unacceptable. Such a large company should have a better system in place for cancellation and for live customer support options. I want my money returned to me expeditiously, and I will not be using Take 5 Car Wash in the future. My membership number is attached to the complaint.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      This 7-day policy was NOT in any way told to me at the time of purchase. The car wash attendant who sold me this plan said specifically that I could cancel the membership at ANY time to avoid the next charge. I was rushed to continue on as there were cars behind me. To now come back and say this is incredibly scammy and you know exactly what youre doing. If this 7-day rule exists, your wash attendants need to be TRAINED TO EXPLAIN THIS which the one that I had clearly was not. 

      I would also like to add that I have NOT YET FILED A DISPUTE. I was hoping I would get an actual resolution from this business first. Since I have NOT filed a dispute, I expect a resolution from this business to correct their wrongs. How on earth would you expect me to return to your business when youre so slow to respond and can provide no resolution? This business wont take accountability for their mistake made by their wash attendant falsely advertising this program. 

      False advertisement by employee, forced to accept said falsely advertised membership terms under extreme time restraints, repeated malfunction of the cancellation website, extremely slow and borderline unreachable customer service, and a completely antiquated BS policy.

      funny how most of these other complaints with the *same issue* are being refunded and I am not. They cant even decide what their own procedure is.

      Date of incident 3/13/25 cost of service $10.00 for a car wash I asked the attendant on duty if I had to remove my trailer hitch before entering the car wash and he advised me that the trailer hitch was fine staying on my truck. There was no sign stating I had to remove it. I went thru the wash and went home.The next day my daughter and I were standing beside the truck and it had big , deep scrapes, multiple scrapes all over the hood, the top of the cab and along both sides of the truck. The scrapes are so deep they are now starting to rust. I made a report at the car wash and they took pictures of the damage, and no one has contacted me about the incident. There is not a phone number for the company that I can speak to a real person. I've made several attempts to contact the main office, but no luck. They are responsible for the damage and they should pay to have it repaired. I have not had a quote on how much it will cost yet.

      I went thru the car wash in ******* ohio in my dodge pickup that's been in our family for years with factory sunvisor the last roller brush ripped my sun visor off I filled out the nessary paperwork got a responce of it was an aftermarket visor which I can prove without a doubt it was factory installed
