Had my car painted and was told it would be OEM quality or better. After 2.5 years the paint had peeled from the roof and there are 10-15 spots all around the car that have now shown bare metal and the paint has lifted. I brought the car back to Maaco in 5/23 and a worker said it was a faulty paint job but needed approval from the manager ****. I returned and **** inspected the car and said it probably wasn't sanded good enough and the prep work wasn't done as well as it should have been and that they would make it right. I wasn't able to schedule leaving my car for a week until 10/23. I called back and the owner said I had to bring in the car to have it looked at. I did and **** and ******* looked at it again and this time blamed the paint issue on everything except faulty work. I got a call the next day that they would cover the repair from the roof where several square inches of bare metal are exposed due to the faulty paint job but would not cover the entire rest of the car. I tried calling Maaco main corporate office at ###-###-#### as listed on the warranty sheet, which is 3 years full coverage, but no one answers the phone. An alternate # for Maaco is ###-###-####, no one answers that # either. I seek a full paint job of equal value at no cost to me.

? Search ..ll 5G @< Back Maaco Auto Bod... W ily ..If I could give "O"? I would. My fault for letting my insurance guy talk me into letting these amateurs paint my car....I don't have time to write a bio. Long story short, I needed the car fixed after hydroplaning off the road. It went in, and after about 2 months, I got my car back. But, when I picked it up, the pieces that were damaged and replaced, were a different color. Not to mention the inner tire well feel down on the wheel when was leaving this place. I go back. They apologize and try again. Another 1 1/2 months I go back to get it. Yet again, the color is wrong on the same exact pieces......they apologize, again. Heave the car. This time, they paint the whole car! I thought that was an awesome thing to do! Well.....They gave me a really good warranty. The paint on the bumper started peeling (see photos). I take it back. They kept the car for about a week. It looked great! However, the paint starts peeling again! I go back for warranty. You can imagine how angry I am at this point. They basically give me the run around. So, I take it to another paint shop. This one is actually a really good paint shop. He told me they never even prepped the bumper. He said the paint would have eventually peeled off. They were probably hoping it would last the warranty. It didn't. Today, I had to replace the L/S headlight ballast on this car (2011 *** *** ***). I HAVE to take the bumper off to do this....Unreal. Screws missing, brackets bent.....support bracket loose, shims fell out (what you use to put in cheap parts) missing screws, they also put in cheap after market fog lights I couldn't adjust. I was told the owner would contact me. Never happened.

Paid for $3000+ base/clear paint job (most expensive option) received a $900 single stage paint job! (Their cheapest option). A few months after the car was painted I took my car to a professional to look over for some work, he informed me that I had in fact a single stage paint job.I immediately contacted them at the Maaco Maple Shade, New Jersey location and I was told to contact corporate. After about a week, a representative from Maaco, corporate named ******** contacted me. She told me to take my car to the location and have the employees verify that it is not what I paid for. I took it there immediately and they confirmed it was not what I paid for. They didnt tell me ******** would be contacting me within the next week, she didnt! The next time I spoke with her, she claimed she didnt get any information from ***********, and I need to take my car back again for them to verify and get an estimate and if my claim was true they would re paint my car correct. So I went to the location again they confirmed again and then I waited , I was supposed to receive a call from corporate (********) within the week. After 4 weeks and 3 messages of not hearing anything she finally called me and claimed she hadn't heard anything from ***********. She would call them and then call me back. When she called me back she told me they would not be repainting my car and basically to s**** myself! Its not covered under warranty! Smh what?!At this point, I was livid, tired of the games and ****** that since the first convo with ******** i felt she was bsing me and playing games, always talking in circles to avoid questions or give me any info on her bosses name etc. acting very shady! I was scammed and defrauded out of a serious amount of money. I went back to the *********** location and everyone there like many times before points the finger at corporate and nobody is taking responsibility for this, they dont care! I guess I have to contact an attorney!

Took my vehicle to Maaco for a repair on 8/2/2022 on my passenger side door behind the driver seat. It was picked up on 9/11/2022. During this time frame, Maaco called me three times to inform me my vehicle was ready for pick up and each time, the work was incomplete so I asked them to do it again and they did. Finally, for the third time after going to get my vehicle, the work was incomplete and poorly done. The General manager was there this time and assured me he would get it fixed right. Needing my vehicle at this point, we agreed to make an appt for the follow up. I then learned that the service I payed for, *************** service, was not completed, work was done on the driver side door as well in which it was not damaged, color did not match, overspray on my dash board and steering wheel, drips and scratches in the paint, paint on other parts of the trim outside of the car, locking system no longer worked and the door could not be opened from the inside, leaving anyone stuck in the vehicle in the event of an emergency. The VP of Operations emailed me agreeing to the refund and admitting to causing damage to my vehcile however, I have not received a refund as of date nor repair money. Desired Settlement:
