    Can't give a negative star unfortunately. Tried to cancel on March 3rd, after 2 hours confirmed cancelled with a confirmation number. Sent equipment back but.....found out they hadn't cancelled my account. I had to redo it March 11th and *** said that confr # doesn't exist!!!! Had to recancel and they refused to back it to a March 3rd date. Here's your new confirmation # !!! Put up with this company and its predecessor name for 30 years living in rural area. Thank god for satellite internet. If you are able to go another route it is in your best interest...go with the satellite.

    Worst internet service. Worst customer service. My internet has been down almost 2 weeks and the best they could do is tell me that a technician will be scheduled for 2 months out. I complained multiple times and spent 5 hours on the phone with them. Finally they gave me an appointment 7 days after my service stopped working. The tech never showed up. After complaining again, they rescheduled another week out. I am predicting that the tech will again not show up. You will not be allowed to talk with anyone in the ***. all their CS agents are in the ***********. I am switching service over to US Cellular internet service.Their grade should be F-

    Their customer service **** lack training knowing what they can or can not do. They are overpriced and service is horrible. Always on hold for at least 25 min each time you need assistance. We have issues at least 2 times, if not more, and without service for our small business. Was offered a full month of service for our troubles and never received it. Finally got so discussed with them, bought ******** for our internet and moved our landline number to our cell phone provider. Tired of throwing our money away! Not even worth a star!

    Moved out of area that brightspeed covers so cancelled service. Account is still trying to be charged after cancellation with customer service care on the phone. After several shifts through the system being around to different Depts still are being charged for service that hasnt been in use for months. Their entire service has been horrible. When first signing up they offered a promotion that never came. Husband had to call for that and have it fixed. The service itself is okay when it works. The installers are lazy and dont listen to homeowners about installing and drilling holes in the home walls. Better off using a mobile hotspot from a cell phone company.

    Goes out often, when you call, can tell agents are reading a script from a screen and don't actually respond as if having a conversation. Typically 30+ minute hold times, always transfers at least 3 times to explain from scratch again and again, BIG hassle when I moved and tried to end service - they won't allow you to remove autopay from your bank account once it's setup. Competes with *********** (now Spectrum) for worst service.

    Unreliable internet service. Poor customer service. I have had nothing but issue with fiber internet from Brightspeed. After less than a month from install, the internet went out completely after dealing with unreliability. The automation troubleshooting hangs up on you and getting a hold of a person is near impossible. After being told "no one was in the office" i managed to get ahold of a call center... where by gods people were in the office.They were unable to remotely help me with trouble shooting and they wanted to send a contractor out but couldn't get them there for over a week. I argued this and got them here in 3.I was given a B.S. reason for the internet not working. But, it worked. Still 0 reliability. Internet cuts out and guess what? A month later the internet is out again. I was on the phone with the call center who After trying some trouble shooting options, went silent on the line. I tried saying hello anyone there, I got static, and after a couple minutes they hang up.They have my call back number and have no called me even though that is their policy "in case we are disconnected".I really want to go back to my previous provider, but upon instal of Brightspeed, their contractor cut the cable of my previous provider. I have been in contact with ********, *********** claim company, but they seem to not want to reimburse me to have the line they cut reinstalled. Which in a way, I get the business perspective. I assumed Brightspeed would have reliable service so I allowed the tech to cut the line so he did not have to drill another hole in my wall. However, I do not have reliable service and only headaches from attempting to deal with their customer service.

    Brightspeed is the company providing landline telephone services for my business, and the entire town and surrounding area of *********, **. Currently, my company has been without telephone services going on 2 weeks. It took 2 days to communicate our loss of services to Brightspeed. It took several more days for Brightspeed to send a technician to address the problem. The technician quickly left, conveying they needed to have another technician "look" at our problem. For 1 week Brightspeed has been sending us daily emails confirming a technician would be arriving that specific day, with no one ever showing up. Today, 2/28/25, they emailed us to inform us that it will be Monday, 3/3/25, until a technician can come and help us. Meanwhile our businesses capability to communicate with vendors, customers, and our employees has been adversely affected. Also, our security system is inoperable. This issue is not only affecting my business, there are unaddressed complaints throughout this local area.

    Brightspeed doesn't care about their customers, period! They are a company that goes into rural areas where people do not have other options and then they are ignored if any problems exist. My parents have been without phone service (they still have a landline b/c of spotty cell coverage) for over a month. Calling customer service is useless b/c it takes several calls for them to finally schedule a technician and then they don't show up even after a text confirmation is received the morning of. I agree with one of the other reviews that while their support staff are out of the country and do speak english, they don't understand it which makes dealing with them even harder. My parents essentially do not have access to 911 without their phone and they are almost 80. That doesn't seem to bother anyone I've spoken with. If I could leave 1/2 star I would.

    Worst customer service any where any product EVER!!!!. I have spent endless hours trying to resolve the fact that I have no service. They can't resolve and can't get technician out. They are out of *** and huge language barrier. Most recent 2 days at 4 hours each getting transfered to different people and departments and then get disconnected. And then start all over again giving the same phone number, address, account number, etc. to 6 or 7 different people as transferred around. There is no recourse to get ahold of anyone to resolve. It is maddening! They are the only non-dish provider in area after they took over from *********** which we previously had no issues. ***********!
