    Bright speed is a horrible internet and phone service ! Both of mine have been out since Nov. 20. I called constantly and was on the phone an hour each time for an hour while they ran test. ! This was done each time. I was told my modem was outdated and that they would send another one. Never got it ! Called back was told it.wasnt sent, had to buy or rent ! Duhh

    Over a span of 3 days I spent 15 hours trying to get my service working. I tried chat, calls, and ******** messenger. I was transferred to several departments several times. My calls and chats kept getting disconnected and Id have to call back and start the explanation process and troubleshooting steps all over again. One department would tell me their was a problem with my account then transfer me. The next **** would say there was nothing wrong with my account and transfer me. The only way they could help me was for me to purchase a new modem for $200 (why did I lease the modem from then a year ago then?). As I canceled my service, I was told they could charge me for the modem then I could just call and have the charges removed. I dont trust that the charges would be removed since nothing else they told me was true. I canceled my service with them and hope my new service is sufficient and can provide the minimum speeds required by my work at home agreement with my employer. I have never felt so utterly helpless in getting assistance as I did with this company.

    We previously had Centurylink and the service was not great but since the switch to BrightSpeed customer service absolutely *****. They give you the run around. The technicians lie about coming out to install service(new construction), and the specialist simply lie on the phone and dispute you down. Dont answer questions and apply credit when you dont even have service. This experience has been horrible and the only reason we are still with them is because there is no other provider. I cant wait until Firefly comes in my area. I will be making the switch as soon as possible

    The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I would not recommend this company. Transferred 4 times then disconnected without them calling back. I called back and got transferred 2 more times for them to tell me they can't provide what they offered to me.

    If I could give you all 0 stars I would. I signed up for service on 12/20 and had an appointment for 12/22 between ****am and they are a no show. I find out through "where's my technician?" that they moved the appointment to 12/26. So I call up and the agent tells me now the soonest appointment is 12/27 so I tell them to cancel my service as this is clearly a sign of things to come. I then have to call four different agents to cancel my account, one says my account is cancelled, the next one that was supposed to issue a refund says my account isn't cancelled, then the third guy said that it looked cancelled, then the fourth said it wasn't but he was actually able to cancel it. I should be getting my initial investment of $65 back in 3-5 business days. This was so disorganized I half wondered if I actually got scammed. I'm going back to Spectrum.

    Brightspeed is horrible. I paid Centurylink up before the switchover. My first bill from BS was nearly $200. My normal bill from Centurylink was around $70 a month. That's two and a half times my normal monthly bill. My son paid it, anyway. Then, the next bill came and it is over $200. The way this figures, they expect me to pay twice what I was paying for worse service. I called to complain and ask why and the person told me I was behind on my payments. If I paid up Centurylink before the switch and then paid the full bill the last time, how am I behind now? My son checked online and BS has a horrible review everywhere. The average rating is 1.2 Stars. People complain about no service, no repairs, being told they have Internet when they don't by someone in *****, disrespectful customer service, and more. For me, it's charging too much and lying about why. It's amazing that each time someone buys this service out, the service gets worse and the prices go up. I have been with this service since the ****s but it seems like I will have to switch to someone who cares about their customers rather than sees them as a cash cow to milk.

    Horrible business. I cant even think of where to begin. Internet shut off due to an area outage then they have the audacity to tell me they wont have it repaired for 3 WEEKS. You cant talk to anyone in their company- everything gets routed to Indian call centers. I rely on this service and they dont care about their customers. I have nothing good to say about them and I hope that they are prosecuted for withholding essential services.

    Absolutely terrible service with Brightspeed. At least it was subpar and semi reliable with Centurylink, but since the switch to brightspeed, internet has been out twice in the past 24 hours. After 30 minutes on the phone with someone from ***** arguing with me that there is no outage (all of my neighbors confirmed they dont have internet) or that my modem isnt plugged in (DUH!), the are sending a technician tomorrow in the reasonable time slot between 8am - 7pm. What BS and what a joke of a company. Come on Musk, we are on the waiting list for Starlink in 2023 agh

    Awful customer service. They are only pushing to have techs sent out to make you pay more and tell you it is just you having issues. We have a community ******** page though and know it is county wide issues but they insist on you paying for a tech. Quite the rip-off because service seldom works, phone hasn't worked at all in a week. So many are complaining about the same thing in our area and yet each of us told it is a problem only at our homes! They are crooks but we don't have a choice in this area so we are all stuck with them

    Brightspeed phone line repair service is horrible. Over the last 6 days I have tried to get a technician to fix the noise on my elderly mother's phone line in ********. I have been directed to their chat customer service and now spent nearly 3 hours in two days on the chat alone. One chat agent out and out lied about the date she sent a tech out (no show). If you call their customer service # you are dumped into the chat and no agent shows up. Had to go through their website. This is a potemkin village of a company. No one is home. Shameful
