    Trying to get a problem repaired is impossible. Takes forever to reach a live person to make a report. Technicians email they are working on issue but don't show up to say fixed and confirm. Just an email they fixed issue; NO, problem not resolved. Get follow-up email with message no problem detected; must be my phone. It's not! Called 3rd time and recording said at least one hour to hold; to hit 1 and get call back w/o losing place. I waited 5 hours and no call back. Now I have to start over. I am going to cancel phone service (just use cell phone); keep internet for time being. For 2nd call, spoke with nice agent who showed concern until he said he was CenturyLink and could not help me; said I had to call BrightSpeed How did I get CenturyLink when I called CS number on BrightSpeed bill. Their own phone number doesn't even work some of the time. Bet they won't wait to be paid even though they don't mind making me wait.

    This company has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. We've been without **************** for 3 weeks now, but every time we call BrightSpeed, we're told "We'll have a technician out tomorrow." Yet a technician never comes and my family and my neighbors continue to have NO INTERNET and NO PHONE SERVICE. And this is the SECOND time this has happened in our neighborhood within the last 3 months!!

    I have had CenturyLink for over ten years and I thought they were bad always going out but at least they would send a technician. Since the switchover to brightspeed the customer service is terrible. They won't help and when they say they schedule a technician I waited three days after the day they said they were coming out and know one ever showed up. It's frustrating paying for something that doesn't work half the time. They talk to me like I'm a idiot and not helpful at all. I would cancel but this is the only internet provider that's available by me.

    The company uses bad business practices, personal data and security breach have occurred. The company has an automated system that is dysfunctional, endless transfer loops, extensive hold times (even when you ask to speak to a supervisor), and then some of the representatives are very rude and disrespectful and hang up on you, they have charged our account after requesting disconnect, which they stated was still pending two weeks later. We have also filed reports and complaints with the **** FCC, *** cyber crime, and now the BBB. We hope this companies services will improve, but so far it has not even after changing over from Centurylink to Brightspeed.

    I have been scheduled for repairs on several occasions and each time they have failed to show.. I live 40 minutes away from that house and have wasted several days with no one showing uptalking to a real person seems impossible as they text or email only it seems. Difficult to receive emails with no WiFi.. please do something about this business

    Our Centurylink internet switched to Brightspeed a couple months ago, and it is horrible!! In less than 2 weeks it has been down 3 times, and not just for a few mins, but for SEVERAL hours. It is currently down again, and not expected to be restored for 15 hours! Already tired of paying for something I can't use half the time! If you have a choice, don't even waste your time or money on Brightspeed!

    Brightspeed bought out CenturyLink. Ever since the change our internet is constantly going in and out. We pay for high speed internet and are lucky to have service most of the time. We live in a rural area with no other internet options.

    It would be lower than this like 0 . A company cut a line in the ditch so we have no internet waited two days for service and there service guy never showed up even know they had set up a time to come never came . What a joke a bad joke , They did call and text at least 10 times trying to get out of fixing the problem , Just plain bad.

    Terrible service they will tell you equipment you have is outdated and recommend upgrading to theirs and their newest modem is Older than the one I have with way less capabilities. They think little of their customers like we Are to stupid to realize they are price gouging and selling unnecessary equipment. Avoid this company /service at all costs
