I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from ********** in September 2021, shortly after I received a letter about a recall on the ice maker, new parts was ordered and the technician came out. The refrigerator continues to be very loud. The noise goes on and on. I have lost 3 freezer full of groceries. No ice. I have called numerous of times and now that the refrigerator is out of warranty Im responsible for the repairs. The same repairs that the technician has already fixed. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my complaint, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.the technician came out today 6/15/2023 and said they discovered that the ice maker was bad. Although I am not completely satisfied with their response and the loss of 3 freezer full of food that goes unknowledged I accept the fact that I purchased a lemon. I have had refrigerators that lasted 20 plus years. Frigidaire just proved to me that they sold me a bad unit.

Purchased an extended warranty for a Frigidaire top freezer refrigerator model # FFTR2045VB when it stopped working just under one year from date of purchase, May 11, 2022. It stopped working just under the covered 1 year warranty, so we purchased the extended warranty for $69 for one more year of coverage. The day the tech came for the first and only service call, the freezer started working again, so he could not see or resolve the problem. 2 weeks later, the freezer stopped working again. Getting a service call under the extended warranty has been a nightmare through the Electrolux designated warranty program. In the past week, have called 10 times, getting different stories on scheduling the service call. (I document all of these calls: how long, who I spoke with)Today we were assured that there would be a service tech out and no one showed up. That is the second service call attempt that failed. Follow up call indicated that the supervisor I was referred to on call # 8 did not actually schedule the service provider from 11am to 1pm today as we were told. Again, no refrigerator for the past week. Did I mention we have a family with 4 kids?I have spent almost 5 hours, 10 phone calls and attempts at resolving issue through the main CS phone number as well as the Electrolux corporate website. The last CS supervisor I spoke with this afternoon said I would hear back from them in 23 to 48 hours. I am not holding my breath.Electrolux needs to get their act together or refund our warranty fee. They should be truthful.Business Response

My 7 year old Frigidaire Gallery outer oven door shattered while preheating. I did not do anything to cause this as no one was in the kitchen at the time. I reached out to customer service and was told the glass was not defective a defect would happened early in the appliances life. I ordered a replacement door however I fear using the oven as this may happen again and my family might not be as lucky. If anyone was in the kitchen at the time of the glass shattering spewing sharp piece of glass everywhere they would most definitely sustained serious injury. I was cut multiple time cleaning it up.Business Response

I purchchased a frigidaire top freeze refrigerator july 22 2022 Broke down 05/15/2023. Called Best Buy where I brought it called them 3 times that morning finally I was told that they could do anything for because it was under warrenty with Frigidaire. So I called them that same day the 15th of May they told me to unplug it and plug back in which I did that morning and wait 24 hours. So the next morning I called them that it still wasn't working. So they schedule appointment for May 17th that Friday from 8AM to 12PM well I call back and told them they didn't show up they said they rejected the request I asked them why they didn't call and tell me they told me it wasn't there responsibilty. They make another appointment for that monday the20th of May same thing they never showed up. Mean time I found out the guy they got the appointment with do not repair refrigerator anymore I have text from him and he told me that he inform the company of this also. When Talk to them they given me another appointment with another for the May22 2022. they came check it out and said it was a switch and order it and tech made appoint with me the may 27 which he came and put the switch in and still did not work it would not turn the compressor on So he order one and had the appointment for today and usually they they text me the night before and I did not receive anything from them called frigidaire talk to them to get find something on my appointment so i asked to talk to a manager I was talking to one and was disconnected and he did not even call me back so I had to call back they they gave me the run around I told them I want to talk to a manager they just told me they gave her my number she would call when she got done with this call she was on waited over an hour and and a half so I called back and they got me a manager and she put me on hold and came back and told me he would be here tonight up to 8:30 its 9:45 never showed up so it will be 17 days without a refrigerator tomorrow.Business Response

Purchased a Frigidaire Portable Air Conditioner on May 9, 2022. Used it as described in manual for 5 months with no problem. Stored it over winter as described in user manual. Tried plugging it in to use for this summer on May 30, 2023. It doesn't work anymore. Called Frigidaire, they refuse to fix or replace because it's 2 weeks out of warranty. Absolutely ridiculous. The item was in storage, and I just so happened to plug it in 2 weeks after the warranty end and you won't stand by your product? It's a technicality and disgraceful. I called customer support, escalated it to a Level 2 Supervisor, and each step of the way I'm told it's out of warranty, too bad. Humans have the ability to override systems to allow for good faith gestures, but Frigidaire has no good faith. I'll never buy another Frigidaire product again.Business Response

We purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator (Item #: *******) from ****** on October 29, 2022 (Transaction # : ********) for $944.00 plus tax. The unit has a warranty of 1 year through Frigidaire. The refrigerator has broken twice (does not stay cold). We contacted Frigidaire with each of these and they sent an independent company to service the unit (G&G Appliances). The serviceman from this company identified that the unit is unrepairable with internal electrical issues. He informed us that a report was sent in to Frigidaire with this information. The refrigerator broke again and we have called Frigidaire many times over the last 2-3 months. Each time we call, we find our previous phone calls are undocumented, we have been unable to speak to a supervisor, and we do not receive phone calls back to discuss further. We continue to have a refrigerator that is non-functional and the company does not respond to our inquiries. During this time, the service contractor company G&G appliances has come to our house twice unannounced for a service appointment when we are unavailable. They have called us an additional time to schedule an appointment for the next day, to which we said we were unavailable and to cancel the appointment. Their team still came to the house.We feel the refrigerator sold to us has internal faults that make the unit unrepairable based on the opinion of the serviceman sent to initially evaluate the unit. Frigidaire has not met their obligations with timely responses, investigations, and accountability. We therefore would like a refund for the unit sold to us.Business Response

I had an Electrolux ELFW7637AW washer delivered by Best Buy on May 17. Since the moment it was delivered, it has had an odor, like a fragrance. According to an online review, the odor is due to an anti-mildew treatment. The odor exacerbates my asthma. how long will it take this odor to dissipate? I called Electrolux customer service asking this, and the front-line agent referred me to the section of the manual on troubleshooting odors, which had zero relevance. I asked him to transfer me to a supervisor, and she claimed it would take a week, and before I could say, "I've had the washer for 2 weeks," she ended the call and transferred me to the survey. I have had an unsatisfactory experience with Electrolux customer service. In fact, my washer leaked the first time I used it, and Electrolux customer service was convinced the problem was the installation. Well, Best Buy technicians returned, and said it was installed correctly, so the washer is detective. I am not sure I want to exchange my defective ELFW7637AW for another one, given this odor and Electrolux's poor customer service. Furthermore, due to the ********** leaking upon first use, I have to buy new supply hoses for whatever washer I decide to buy to replace the defective ELFW7637AW. I am requesting that Electrolux compensate me for the cost of the supply hoses I bought for my defective ELFW7637AW.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: Electrolux did not address a single concern I raised. I asked how long the odor from the anti-mold chemical would last. Electrolux customer service gave me an obviously wrong answer (1 week). Furthermore, I returned the Electrolux washer to Best Buy since it leaked. Best Buy confirmed it was installed correctly, so the Electrolux washer was defective. For this reason, I am requesting that Electrolux compensate me for the cost of the washer hoses I purchased for the Electrolux washer. I would also like to clarify that Electrolux customer service scheduled the service call without consulting me, so of course I cancelled the service call. If Electrolux refuses to provide customer service (why can't anyone answer my question about long the odor from the anti-mildew treatment lasts? I know it's longer than 3 weeks.), I will not exchange my broken Electrolux for a new Electrolux but consider a different brand.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: I was sold a defective Electrolux washer that leaked upon first use, and I have to buy new supply hoses for my new washer. You can only install supply hoses once, so installing the supply hoses on my defective Electrolux washer has rendered them unusable. I have been harmed by Electrolux manufacturing defective washing machines, and Electrolux has no intention of making this right.Initial Complaint

I purchased a new refrigerator from ****** on 4/27/22. On 10/18/22 the refrigerator got warm and ruined the food in my fridge. I filed a warranty claim through Frigidaire. They told me it would take several days for someone to come out. The next day my freezer got hot and ruined all of the food in the freezer as well. There was to be a service technician come out on 10/20 by 7 PM. He never showed up so I had to call the next day. He then came out on 10/25. Replaced one part which did not work and then told us we had to wait for another part to come in. On 10/31 the guy returned and replaced the part. Which still did not work. The guy finally returned on 11/08 with the correct part and the fridge worked. Through all of this I contacted Frigidaire multiple times whose solution was to extend my warranty 6 months. I then received a letter via email (which i have attached) stating warranty was extended until 10/26/23. Most recently on 5/24/23 my refrigerator again got warm and ruined all of the food in my fridge. I then contacted frigidaire again for a service technician. I was then told I did not have a warranty extension and was hung up on. After calling again I talked to someone who had me forward the letter to verify it was valid. I did just that and she told me someone would call within 3 days to get a technician out to our home. I have not heard anything as of 5/30 so i called back in. The first person I talked to told me that they had put a ticket in for a service provider with Highway appliance and to call for an appt. I called them and they stated they would not come out due to only taking customers who purchased from them directly. I called Frigidaire back and had spoken to someone who then again told me i had no warranty and when I asked to speak with someone else she told me there was no one else and if i wanted to talk to someone else I could call back and hung up on me. I have no way of getting any resolution and have young children. We all rely on a working appliance.Business Response

we bought a washer dryer combo from Lowes in **** **. the dryer was for natural gas. at the same time we bought the conversion kit for propane. the combo set worked for a short time and then the dryer would not heat. I went to Lowes and was told they only sell them the 1 year warranty is with Frigidaire and that I needed to contact them. I called them and explained the dryer has stopped heating. they said they would send a repair person to take a look. after 6 weeks the repair person came and said that we needed parts. they would order the parts and call us back. after 6 weeks I called **************** that they had set up to repair the unit. ****************** ************************************************* ************ and ask for an update on the repair. I was told they can not get the part number for the parts as my model number FLCG7522AW3 is not listed in the parts ordering book and that I would need to call Frigiarire to get the part numbers. I called and was told the unit is so new the parts are not available and that the resolution team would call me with a resolution. i have been going to a laundry mat for 4 months and every time I call they are going to look into in and will call me back. all I want is a unit that works. give me my money back or a unit that works I am told by them that it is now out of warranty and they will look into it and reach out to me in 3-5 business days I have been told this 4 times by 4 different people. I need help to get something done with a broken unit that is so new parts are not available. I am told I need the main control board and the gas valve assembly my confirmation number with them is ******** and my reference number is **********Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:the first thing is this all started while the appliance was under the one year coverage. they just goofed around and let the warranty expire. but it started while it was under warranty.
I received a call from M&S and they tell with out the 2 parts
main circuit board
and gas valve assembly
there is no need for them to come to my house as there is nothing they can do. with out the parts and they can not get them from Frigadire
so here I sit with no help and still going to a laundry mat for my laundry. I need some help please

I have a dehumidifier purchased in June 2021. Last fall it quit taking water out of the air. I thought it was maybe the temp at 59 degrees but this year several times it kicked off with error code ec. I have tried replugging and restarting. Went back to the same thing. Still taking no water out of the air. I couldnt get through their email or roundabout phone. It has the wrong person on my phone account.
