    I recently had the unfortunate experience of doing business with Kennard, the owner of Kennard Renovations, and Im sharing my concerns to ensure customers are aware of the recurring patterns Ive encountered, which may reflect broader issues with his business practices.While I believe in supporting small businesses, I also value accountability and professionalism, especially in todays tough economy.I currently have an ongoing issue with this owner regarding funds that are still owed to me, well past the deadline stated in our agreement which stated that per the official lease agreement, a deposit would be returned within 30 days. Instead of providing a clear timeline for resolution, Ive been met with numerous excuses and indefinite delays. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. Throughout my dealings with this owner, Ive encountered unfulfilled promises and poor communication, which at one point left me in substandard living conditions. The lack of urgency in addressing these matters demonstrates a disregard for how their actions (or inactions) negatively impact others.While I fully support small business owners and entrepreneurs, there comes a point where accountability and follow-through are essential. I hope this business improves communication and reliability in the future, as the ongoing issues have reflected poorly on their level of professionalism. As a result, *** filed a formal complaint with the BBB to ensure that these concerns are addressed and to help other consumers make more informed decisions.
