Bought this item: (Honeywell HTF210B QuietSet Personal Table Fan, Black Oscillating Personal Fan with Quiet Operation and 4 Levels of Power and Sound) on September 16th of last year new, off of Amazon. It has since stopped working properly, I suspect an issue somewhere between the power adapter and the motor. It works fine sometimes but other times it just dies until I ***** around with the adapter input prong. I am far outside of ******'s return window but am within the 1 year warranty time Honeywell includes with this product. I want a replacement. It's not expensive which isn't the point but it also IS the point. The lady I've been dealing with through email with ****** has been polite but unwilling to help me process a warranty and replace the item. Because of this, I want assistance from the BBB please. I have a Honeywell dehumidifier which failed two weeks ago, Honeywell's representative in the US is JMATEK. I have sent all of the required warranty information, and it has been accepted. Nevertheless, the unit is still broken, and I have not had an answer from JMATEK. My case number with them is ********. One of their **** told me that my emails were going to spam! I have valuable instruments in the dehumidifier space and need it desperately. Can you help? It has been two weeks now with no help. Honeywell is impossible to contact by phone.Initial Complaint

International *******************, which is licensed and trademarked to use the Honeywell name, is irresponsibly not covering products under the warranty period as well as not addressing filed complaints to the company. I am asking Honeywell to involve themselves to make the product claim right, as the purchase was because of the Honeywell Name. It should also be noted that I placed the claim to IDC by calling ************ and submitting my original receipts to the supply. Below is more detailed information pertaining to my claim During the month of November 2023, a purchase of 3 Honeywell 800 Lumen Outdoor Lantern with Selectable Color Temperature Item ********* were purchased from retailer ***** Club. During the summer of 2024, the lights went bad, no longer illuminating. First 1 light, then the second and now eventually all 3. I contacted the manufacturer at the provided phone number to make a claim for the first light, then the second and now with the 3rd light bad, this needs to be added to the claim. It has been over 6 months since contacting the company and being told that the lights were on back order with no additional contact from ***. The lights no longer work and after waiting have finally replaced them with another purchase/product. I have retained the defective lights for verification, although I was told to dispose of them. My request is for the company to reimbursement my money as the items went bad during a covered manufacturer warranty period.Initial Complaint

I have tried multiple times to get warranty support to no avail, starting in September 2024. I have been going back and forth with Honeywell for well over a year now. I purchased 5 linkable LED lights, and all 5 of them have now failed. I was told originally that I would receive a replacement. Then I was told I would receive my money back based on the warranty claim. I have included all of my emails back and forth with Honeywell when the lights were manufactured by *********, a subsidiary of Honeywell, and after IDC Texas closed and Honeywell directly took over. I was told again to fill out a warranty claim and still have not received any information. I do not understand why no one is able to help fulfill this warranty claim and give the support they guaranteed.Initial Complaint

The transaction date was 09/2024. I paid approximately $40.00-$70.00 for a Honeywell WI-FI Electronic Deadbolt with a Touchscreen from *******. I wasn't able to install the lock right away as I was in the process of moving, managed to go to the hospital, and had to have my home cleaned up by my parents because it was just filthy after moving and going to the hospital. Needless to say, the receipt was trashed during the cleaning process. As I was going through recovery, I managed to install the lock (I need to automate or have a smart home system for emergencies), but it was defective in functionality. I contacted customer support, where ********************** has outsourced its customer service to *************************. I left a voicemail for assistance and received a voicemail saying to call back, but I never got a callback. I received a text message from the representative, but the communication wasnt very effective. Time moved on without any genuine assistance, which I had given up. I contacted the representative again to resolve this, and they stated they have a new policy to replace the lock if I have the receipt. I told them ******* does not provide receipts because their updated systems can only go back 90 days. I let the representative know that when she replied with an AI response stating that ******* goes back 6 months. So, out of frustration, I went to ******* to get a copy of the receipt, and I was begging them to even try looking it up, but there was still no receipt. I ended up buying another lock. I sent the new receipt to the representative so I could at least get service, but the representative said I couldnt help because it was a new lock I purchased with cash. It is frustrating because I am dealing with policies from two companies that have since changed, and without a receipt but evidence of an item, I cant be helped. I have two Honeywell wifi Focus Pro 6000 smart thermostats purchased through an HVAC provider who has now gone out of business. Both thermostats are in the same house and have worked perfectly for 2 years until the last 4 weeks where I have received continuous alerts "The thermostat did not acknowledge the changes submitted at xxxx date. Check your settings and resubmit". I am remote and I require these units to be controlled remotely. I have bene on more than 6 tech support chats and the most recent transcript is attached. Honeywell refuses to replace the thermostats under warranty even though they have been determined to be defective. I simply request either a similar unit or the same unit to be replaced. My house is a rental and I am losing money from bad reviews beacuse the thermostats do not work.Initial Complaint

Purchased a honeywell home digital thermostat for an electric baseboard heater on line from the honeywell store. Model #RLV3120A on 09 Nov 24. Set temperature to 70 degrees and after 3 days the room temperature never rose above 66 degrees. I had it replaced with a new and different thermostat and it works perfectly. I called Resideo who is the manufacturer and they told me it was honeywells responsibility then hung up. I then called honeywell and they were sorry and hung up. The thermostat was no doubt defective because the new replacement works terrific. I appreciate your time contacting these businesses and hopefully a good outcome.Initial Complaint

I purchased a humidifier on Amazon (Order ID: ******************** for $58.45. I contacted your customer support in June about an issue with the product, but I have not received any response since then. This lack of follow-up is extremely *****************, the humidifier has a new and serious problemthe internal circuitry has burned, releasing a strong and unpleasant burning smell. This is not only inconvenient but also a safety hazard.Please address this matter immediately and provide a resolution for both the original issue and this new problem. On 5/6/24 I went to Lowes and purchased Honeywell 48ft LED string lights. I hung them up outside in my yard. Within 1 month 2 or 3 of the LED lights stopped working. I am very busy and didn't have time to go back to *****. By the 2nd month 4 more LED lights not working. By August only 5 LED lights are working. There are only 15 lights on the string. I called up Lowes end of August and they said I just passed the 90 days and I would have to call Honeywell and get a replacement as there is a 5 year warranty. ***** gives me a phone# to call. I called Honeywell Customer support at ************ they inform me that I need to call the company that made them although they have the Honeywell name on them. The company is called *** I called several times and kept getting a recording to leave a message which I did. I never received a call back. A few weeks later I call again and now the recording says messages are full you can not leave a message. I contact Honeywell support again so they call IDC and can't get thru. He tells me he will escalate my problem. Weeks or another month goes by and I call back again I now have a lady tell me that *** is not operational at the moment and I must wait. I ask did they go out of business she says I have no information other then they are not operational. She tells me to send my receipt in from Lowes and an email which now is Nov 4, 2024. I still here nothing from Honeywell so I call back today Dec 3, 2024. The lady looks my info up and says yes I see it's been over 2 months your problem was escalated in October. She says hold please. She gets back on phone and tells me mam you must wait. *** is not operational. I tell her the Honeywell name is on my product with a 5yr warranty. I want a replacement She again tells me you must wait. I said wait how long she says they do not know. I said a month a year she continues to say they don't know *** is not operational. I asked did they go out of business what is going on. I want a replacement !!
