I have been waiting for almost a whole year to get our panels inspected and for them to be turned on. Within that year Ive been paying the monthly payment for the panels themselves as well as a normal electric bill. I call constantly and never get a real answer for when the panels will get inspected. When we do get a date of inspection, theyre no shows and take forever to reschedule. When we call the customer service number they dont answer. I just dont know what to do to either get the energy bill we were promised or to stop service with this business.Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC

We understand that your system recently received Permission to Operate from your utility company and is now fully functioning and activating. We also issued you a reimbursement check for your panel payments from August 2024 through January 2025 as we told you we would reimburse you for the time your system was not operational. However, much of the delay was out of Top Tier's hands and due to scheduling delays on behalf of the county. Further, you remained unresponsive to our team members for over a month as they were trying to get the inspections scheduled. Once a date was scheduled in October, the inspector who works for the county canceled the inspection without notice and rescheduled it for a later time. While we do apologize for the delays and apologize for the inconvenience of the delays, we are doing what we can to make this right for you and compensating you for the time your system was not operational due to the scheduling conflicts. We do apologize and are glad that your system is now operational and thank you for choosing Top Tier.Review fromSteven B

I had a great experience working with Top Tier Solar. Their team was professional, efficient, and easy to work with throughout the process. They answered all my questions, handled the installation smoothly, and delivered exactly what they promised. The panels are working perfectly. I am very satisfied with the solar panels at my home. I have noticed a lowered electric bill and I am staying nice and warm in my house during this bitter cold winter. This company promises things to get you to sign up, they hurry the next day to put the equipment on your house and then never reaching out again. They have yet to turn on the equipment and they have yet to pay the referral bonus or the power bill (that they promised to do for one year). Salesperson appears to be nice and act as if they are really there to help you save money but in reality they are lying to you to get you to purchase and then the ghosting starts. My sales person named ***** sold me a bunch of lies. Made me think of very an incentive check for 46% when I filed my taxes that could be paid toward the cost of my unit that would lower my energy payments to $120 for the 1st 2yrs and no more than $175 there after until the unit was paid in full. That was so far from the truth. The bill I received shows a I'll have to pay 16 payments of $242.37 and 282 payments of ******. The lump sum tax incentive given by the government that I was told I'd get on my taxes was suppose to lower my payments, is actually broken up over several years and now my energy bill is more than I can afford to pay and I have a system that hasn't been activated nor do I want. I've called on several occasions to speak with someone and calls are unanswered. When I call or text the Salesperson he just ignores me. I spoke to an accountant who told me that the information I was given was incorrect. I've managed to talk to the financial institution who bills for the panels and asked for an extension until I can get this sorted out. I simply want them removed from my home. I asked them to remove them on November 22, 2024 and they refused. They have not been activated or used. I refuse to sign the release form for Dominion Va Power because I've been lied to from the very beginning and I want answers. I'll never deal with these people ever again. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone going solar.Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC

During the meeting and prior to any execution of a contract, the sales representative explained Solar Incentive Tax Credits to you as all the sales representatives at Top Tier Solar Solutions are well-versed on how the bill works and its stipulations set forth by the ************************. The sales representative provided a thorough explanation that the tax credit allows the homeowner to apply the credit to their personal income taxes, which means it is only applicable against taxable liability, and furthermore made it clear that it is not a rebate or a discount. You also confirmed on a recorded call with Top Tier Solar Solutions at the time of sale that you understood and acknowledged that the Top Tier Solar Solutions sales representatives are not licensed, or professional tax advisors and that the information provided regarding the federal tax credit is not guaranteed by Top Tier Solar Solutions or any of its representatives. Additionally, on the recorded call, you were informed that should you have any questions regarding her eligibility for the tax credit, you should contact a professional tax advisor, to which you agreed. Additionally, the contract which you signed states on the Terms and Conditions page, "Client agrees and understands that none of the statements or representations by Top Tier Solar Solutions, or any of its agents, employees or contractors, whether made prior to or after the Effective Date of this Agreement constitute tax or financial advice. Client further agrees and understands that Top Tier Solar Solutions is not a tax advisor or accountant and that should Client desire tax or financial advice Client should engage its own independent tax or financial consultant." Top Tier also partners with a professional tax advisor, ****** Accounting, who you are more than able to consult with to get a second-opinion regarding the tax credits as many financial advisors are not fully knowledgable about the specifics of the credit. Further, as you are not willing to move forward with the project, you are now in violation of your contract with Top Tier. Please contact your Project Manager as soon as possible with the requested information to ensure that you do not get penalized for breach of contract.T. B.

No one's sorry for for how I was deceived and nothing about my review is false. No one has tried to accommodate me or contact with any sort of resolution. I've been waiting for an answer or response to this my concern for months. Whenever I reached out, I was told no decision had been made. I've been communicating with ******** for months now. My calls are almost never answered. All I get are text messages. My last text to ******** was on March 5, 2025, following up on my case and he said there still was no decision made. Then 2 days later I receive this response, threatening me about breach of contract. I've done nothing to deserve this sort of treatment. I just want to know how can you all allow your salesman to falsify details related to the incentive during a sale and then justify it by stating"Client agrees and understands that none of the statements or representations by Top Tier Solar Solutions, or any of its agents, employees or contractors, whether made prior to or after the Effective Date of this Agreement constitute tax or financial advice. I signed an agreement under false representation. I know what I was told and there's no way I would have agreed to paying more for energy than I was already paying when I only have one income and live alone. This has and still is causing me a great deal of unnecessary stress. Instead of constantly avoiding talking to me, why hasn't someone called to discuss why I was told this and how to make this billing situation conducive. Where is the compassion? I lost both my parents during the time of this sell and still grieving. This emotional invalidation is hurtful to say the least. I'm a respectable law abiding citizen, who pays my bills on time, treat others the way I want to be treated and all I want in return is to be treated as such. I invited your salesman into my home and trusted that I was getting exactly what was discussed. I'm asking you to honor the those terms. Up until that call, you seemed satisfied with your system and pleased with your experience with Top Tier. However, during that call, you expressed concerns regarding your eligibility for the Federal Tax Credit. We advised you that you could contact our tax advisor partner, ****** Accounting. We further reiterated to you the information provided at the time of sale and on the Welcome Call that states that Top Tier and our representatives are not tax professionals and that the federal tax credit is not guaranteed, to which you verbally agreed. We encouraged you to contact ****** Accounting as a valued customer and get their advice on your eligibility. We assure you that no "scam" occurred as you have been happy with our service for almost two years up until this point and were aware of all of the matters as it relates to the federal tax credit as it was explained to you at the time of sale. Salesperson was not professional, never told me their name. Ask me in the beginning if I was interested in this or not. I was interested but I stated that it all depended on the cost whether I did anything that day. At the end he gave me a price and then I decided that this was too expensive for me. He kept pushing me into getting the the solar system. I told him no multiple times but he just kept running his mouth. He was 25 years old and very unprofessional. I ended up having to raise my voice and ask him to get out of my house. Finally once he was leaving he still was running his mouth. He had to call his supervisor because I turned the offer down and when he was speaking to his supervisor he told her lies about what I had said to try to make him look good and me look bad. I told him that I had a ring camera and it was recording everything that he was saying when he was standing in my driveway and once I said that he finally shut up and got in his car. I would not recommend this company to no one. If you need a solar system please use a different company. One that is professional that introduces their self. Before he left he stated that I wasted his time. But I never agreed to sign up in the first place because it all depended on how much the cost was.Top Tier Solar Solutions, LLC
