  Can't leave a 0!!!My 85-year-old father waited 9 hours in 102 weather forAAA Carolinas to show up. After having to speak to a supervisor they finally dispatched a truck. She told ne they had not made my 85 yesr old father a priority. When the company got there to tow the vehicle he told me they had a truck available all day but had not gotten a call from dispatch until an hour before they showed up. A 9 hour wait! Ridiculous!! Unacceptable!! No apologies from AAA. No concerns over his condition. Never called me to check on him!!

  If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had a break down on Saturday, August 19 on US 421 so I called *** at 6:20 PM and they never came. They never gave me an ETA. They never called me to let me know a tow truck was on the way. I ended up being picked up at 9pm and left my car on the side of the road. The next morning on Sunday they called and still did not have an ETA. I ended ** having to cancel the request and start a new one. My car was finally picked up and dropped off in ******* ** at a nearby shop, Sunday around noon. I live in ************, ** by the way. I even told the *** guy that I did not feel safe on the side of the road and he said it would make it emergent. If I had waited for them, I probably still be on the side of the road. *** has really gone down hill.

  I was forced to choose a star in order to leave this review. I will not give any stars! In fact, I would give negative stars if possible. We have had AAA for 5 years, a GOLD member. We have never needed to call for roadside assistance until today, when we locked keys in the vehicle. We used the app and asked for Roadside Assistance. It took one hour for us to get a call back from a customer ********************** representative who told me that AAA has no one on the East Coast that will unlock our vehicle! How crazy!!! NO ONE ON THE EAST COAST! AAA sure takes my money every year from the East Coast!!!!! If AAA doesn't offer roadside assistance on the East Coast, they should not accept money from customers on the East Coast. FRAUD!!!! Needless to say, I will NOT renew my membership with AAA, and I will loudly tell everyone that AAA is nothing but a SCAM! Also, worst customer ********************** in the world.

  AAA is terrible. Last summer I waited 6-1/2 hours for a tow from ************* to Salisbury. I had basic membership & still paid $300 out of pocket. Earlier this year my wife waited 3 hours and finally took some kind gentlemans offer to change her flat tire on a side road on an incline. Said forget AAA in the Carolinas, youll be waiting hours. Upgraded to AAA+ in Jan 2023. We had just made it to the Smoky Mountains when my daughter called. She had taken my wifes car to ********* and was pumping gas. When she came out the car wouldnt start. Battery was new as of 1/2023. Took 4-1/2 hours for service. Wage tech realized the battery was fine, he had to put in a request for a tow. Could be 1-5 hours. It was over 90 degrees and her dog was back at our house & no neighbors home to let him out. I had to call towing companies from our hotel in ********* to find a 24 towing company which was there in 30 minutes. Towed to our mechanic an hour away. $320 for a ********* get $100 back from insurance. If the idiots at AAA would have been there I wouldnt have had to pay out of pocket. My daughter took a Lyft to our house rather than drive with the tow truck driver & still have to get a ride home. From 1pm in the *************** made it home at 9:30 pm. AAA should refund my membership. They dont seem to care and customer ********************** reps ***** like they could care less. I was told by towing company owners that they pay very little under contract with AAA so those customers are a last resort vs paying customers. Ill never use AAA again here in North Carolina. I dont know if its like this in the contiguous ** states. When we did reach a rep they asked if we were in ********. Shows they dont update their records. Goodbye AAA. Youve lost my business once my membership runs out, but Im sure you dont care judging by the other customers who left reviews here.

  As of this moment I have been broken down on the side of the road in North Carolina sine 3:45. About 2.5 hours. Its about a hundred degrees and the car doesnt run. I dont understand the problem. If this were an accident a tow truck would be here in minutes. Saga to continue.

  Terrible service !!!!!Broke down and told wait was over 3 hrs for tow truck. I complained to the manager made no difference. What a waste of our yearly membership.We ended up calling a tow company ourselves And they were there within 30 mins.I dont think AAA care one hoot about their customers

  Needed a flat tire repaired so went to a AAA center to get it repaired. They charged me $40. I thought they repaired your tires for free. I was wrong. I could go anywhere cheaper than $40. They dont repair and only change. There are no discounts that are cheaper if you have the membership. I see no reason to keep my membership. By the way they offer no refund when you cancel. You have to wait until membership expires.

  AWFUL!!! Im not renewing my membership. Not even close. Scheduled a tow in advance and they never showed up..! I called to ask where they were and membership customer ********************** rep said they would be there in 30 min. They weren't. She also said that the app should never have allowed me to schedule a tow in advance. Thanks!..thats SO helpful! I am a single female on the side of the road. This is NOT f****** cool!!!

  On 7/29/23 my car broke down & I called AAA. This was 7:06am on a Saturday morning. I got two messages that they were busy an hour apart. I called AAA 4 times between 10am & 12:30pm & received different answers. Finally the last call the lady said she would call the wrecker services & get an estimate of arrival. It was 1:30pm before the wrecker showed up. I think it is pretty sad that I had to wait over 6 hours before getting any help. I can't figure why someone would stay in business with this kind of service. I'm 75 ******** was very difficult waiting for that long. I just want AAA to know that they failed on service on the day I called.

  Save your money children and pets from getting stuck with no assistance. This would be a negative 10 review if allowed. My 80-year-old mother placed a call on Saturday night at 6:46 p.m. for a flat tire. we received two calls saying they were running late but she was in the queue and would get a call back with an ***. no one called back and no one showed up. they called at 8:45 the following Sunday morning she had to borrow a car to get home Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. to feed her pets and let them out while someone stayed with her vehicle. at this point she had borrowed a vehicle and planned her normal ************* attendance. we asked if they could come between 1:00 and 4:00 to change the tire since they did not respond for almost 13 hours and they said absolutely not. they canceled the service call. She called back on Monday at 9:30 and requested service again she received a call informing her that they would be there in 29 minutes she has been with the car since 9:30 a.m. after no one showed up for several hours we continued calling to check the *** we continuously got put back into the queue to keep circling the same loop with no one to speak with and still no service. Finally after 20 hours someone has finally shown up to fix the Tire. My entire family will be canceling the service and finding a new provider since AAA cannot uphold their obligations to their to loyal customers that have Paid Dues for 10 and 15 years.
