1 starI would give a zero if I could. They do not deserve one star. I have been a member since 2020 and used three times. ALL three times was horrible; however, this last time pushed it over the limits for me. My family and I pay this company over $300 a year and will never pay them again. My car broke down 07/31/2023 at 1 am in the morning. I phoned AAA for a tow, the first person stated ok, someone would call me "shortly". I called back at 2am and the lady I spoke to told me they were on a 2 hour wait at the least. I would be waiting at least 2 hours before I got a call. 4am, i called back and they stated that no one had picked up my ticket that I would get a call with updates. Remind you that I am broken down on the interstate ALONE in my car. I call back at 5am and request to speak to a manager, I get a total different story from her and she proceeds to tell me to contact an uber to come get me. I tell her that I am 2 hours away from home and I dont feel safe anymore. She tells me that she does not know what to tell me that I can contact a tow service on my own. So I called two 24 hour tow and they wanted over $900 to tow my car. So I called back at 6am to triple A, I told the lady that I just needed a tow for 3 miles down the road and that I had been waiting all night. She told me that she would submit a ticket to get an update "what?" . I call back at 8am and at this point I am crying and about to lose it and they tell me that my request was never submited for a tow. Within the hour a tow truck showed up. I got a different response every time that I called someone and was left on the road, 2 hours away from home alone because this company would not do what they state they will do. I had no one to call to come get me and I WAS NOT going to trust an uber at that time of the night. I will never give them another ***** of my money and they should be shut down.Review fromRich L

If I could give negative stars I would. Sent a request in on 7/29 around 7:30 PM for a dead battery. We had someone jump our vehicle & actually stopped at an Advanced Auto to just have them change it but they were unable to. So we had them jump are car again & made it back to hotel. Battery died again. So we waited for AAA. Got multiple robo calls saying they were running behind. I called twice & was told they are busy & Im in the que. Last call I made was at 11:30pm. Feel asleep & woke up at 5:30am & still hadnt heard anything. Called in again only to be told that service guy doesnt come in until 8am. So its only 24 hour roadside service for certain services. Maybe you could specify on app which services to not count on. We were supposed to be on the road already heading back to **** but thanks to AAA Carolinas here we sit.AAA Carolinas

Ridiculous....left us stranded knowing we were passing thru. I explained it was my husband, our 2 children and myself, 0 help from AAA. We have gotten lucky and we were able to make it to a gas station. The friendly people in ****** have tried to help us but because auto stores are closed we can't get a new battery which is what we need. So far we have been waiting 5 hours, still no one has shown up. I am not from here but I have used AAA for years thru ** and have never been treated so poorly as a paying customer.AAA Carolinas

Just renewed my membership with aaa. To my surprise. I found out they no longer cover the ***** ** area. And nearest service station for road side assistance is 2.5 hrs away wasn't informed that they no longer cover my area. And found a approximate wait time of 12 hr plus to be a unreasonable amount of time to wait on side of the road. Had to call a local tow. And pay out of pocket. My zip code for my house doesn't even show in there system. When using the online app. I'm going to contact them on next business day and ask for refund. As not exactly emergency road side assistance for my area.AAA Carolinas

I have AAA membership since the last 19 years and might have called them 5 times in the 19 years. They were OK in the beginning arriving in about an hour. Then the roadside assistance previous to the last one took them almost 3+ hours to send someone for a simple jump start. The last roadside assistance that happened on 21st July, 2023 was a nightmare. I called for a flat tire at 3:08 PM and they assigned someone to tow us, but no one showed up and then I had to find someone else to help us and we reached home at 9 PM. It was 100+degree Fahrenheit and the car's ac wasn't running. My wife had a heat stroke and I am a heart patient. Their negligence could have turned fatal for us. I placed the roadside assistance request at 3:08 PM and they assigned someone to tow us. I called after an hour and they said that they are trying to find someone. Another hour passed and still no contact from the towing company. I called again and the operator said some one is coming shortly as he presently towing someone else. Another 45 minutes passed and I called, the operator said that he is sorry as the towing company assigned to us is not coming and they are trying to assign **********************. They did not even bother to inform us about the delay. The operator said that they would reimburse if we can find someone to tow us and they are still trying to assign a towing company to us. I tried calling another local towing company but it was 6:30 PM already and I couldn't find anyone. I still kept waiting to hear from AAA, but they never bothered to give us any updates. It was around 7:30 PM that some technician picked up my phone and promised to come. Thankfully he arrived in 45 minutes and we reached home at 9 PM. I called AAA from home, the first operator hung up on me and the second pretended to not to hear me. After paying them for 3 MEMBERSHIPS (me, son, daughter) every year for 19 years this is the treatment that I got. I am going to BBB to file a complaint and reimbursement.AAA Carolinas

If I could give a 0 that is what I would give. Bo concern when you need service. After a couple of hours and you calling them (they don't care enough to keep in contact) they tell you feel free to call someone to tow you, pay them and then file for reimbursement. If they don't have anyone how can we find one. It's now been 4 hours and still no one. The last call I made someone was supposed to return my call. But here set's a female with a 6 year old at 2:00 in the morning. Not wasting my money anymoreAAA Carolinas

Terrible service and CANCELLING end of my first year. Stranded in ************ area since 6:00 of parkway and ********** bypass 6:30-7:00 on phone with AAA and they said the tow truck driver would be calling ******* did 9:08 taxi picked up wife and 2 grandkids and took them back to the hotel -AAA called several times that they were coming at a specific time and never showed up 9:15 Police stopped and said I couldnt park there and explained that I have been stranded since 6:30 at this spot. He put his lights on and stayed with me. 9:30 police officer called a tow truck 10:30 tow truck came to drop off car at garage 11:17 someone from AAA called me from Cocoa ** and asked if they could pick the car up in the morning. I told them that a police officer had the car towed since AAA wasnt showing up 11:20 returned to hotel with a lift from the tow truck driver I JUST GOT AN EMAIL THAT THEY WILL ONLY COVER $50.00 ************* I ever dealt with but not any more. They are the hardest company to get a hold of!!!AAA Carolinas

1 starI called in a request for a tow at 10:53 am. I called back at 12:30 and they said they didn't have an order. I scheduled another tow. Now they say they will get me at 3:25 p m. So I can get my truck fixed today I called a private tow truck to pick up the truck. I have been a member for 19 years and have only used AAA 3 times. What a waste
