      I called for tow service at 12:42pm on Thursday, July 6, 2023. I received an automated call at 1:24pm stating that they were running behind and my request was in que. I received another automated call at 1:53pm stating the same thing. I called them at 2:47 and was told that they would be here by/around ****no one came. I called back at 4:02pm and was told that they would pick my car up and just leave it at the shop. I informed them that the company doesn't allow that and would not be responsible for any damages. I got a call back at 5:16 pm stating that it would be around 7:03pm. At that time the shop was closed. I called and asked to speak with a manager/supervisor and was talked to like i wasn't supposed to speak to one. After being on hold for ************************************************************************************************** as ************************** and no drive was available. I informed him that's not the address I requested service from! I finally got an appointment for Friday, July 7,2023 between the hours of 8:30-10:30am. This was totally poor service and to make it seem like I'm the one at fault. I have been a member since 2013 and I pay a healthy price for my service. I expected to be treated like they would want me to treat them! After all, if they didn't have any customers that needed to their service, they would be out of business.

      Our family has had two extremely unsatisfying experiences using AAA Carolinas. Weve been memebers for 4-5 years and have always received prompt(ish) help and been kept in the loop of service members heading our way/being dispatched. Recently my mother was stranded on the highway needing gas, we called in AAA and were told someone was being dispatched. Hours later her service was cancelled without notice. So again, we call AAA who then tell us its now after hours so they arent any service contractors in the area. We had to call a gas station and pat someone to bring us gasoline. I understand services arent 24/7 everywhere but what is the point of this service? She would have had to hitch a ride to a hotel then back the next day to wait on AAA.The most recent was yesterday when my brothers car overheated. After making a call and telling us service members were being dispatched, he waited 3 hours in summer heat. We call back and find out no one has been dispatched. Again we call AAA who then tell him they are now sending someone else cause the last person cancelled. BUT he has to stay with the car. Mind you this 3 hours (noon to 3p) and he is looking for other options for a ride. We have to call again and tell them he cannot wait any longer with the car, we are told to hide the key with the car and he can leave. This is 2 hours from anyone we know so someone made a 4 hour drive to pick him up. Next day, we call to confirm that the vehicle has been dropped off at our mechanic and GUESS WHAT!? Yup, no pick up. Cancelled again, with no notification. Well this is great. Again I understand things happen, but no notice whatsoever and now when we call and express our concern and frustration the call line assistant gives us an attitude like were the ones out of line. Its insane how quickly this service has gone down hill. Id much rather take my chance hitchhiking with a stranger that continue to pay for this service. AAA, do better. Honestly.

      I have been waiting for service since **** last night from AAAa and it is **** in the morning and I have to be at work by **** . For some reason, the same agent is the only person that has received my phone call. My phone is dying and I have a need for help and the person has been rude, very condensending and has not dispatched my call for help to anyone. She lied and said they're is no one to help me when I have seen a AA driver pull up behind me. I do not know who this agent is but they are lying and rude. I am stranded and this is not called for.

      Please excuse the grammatical erorrs. I am pissed!!!??????????I rate their service as no stars. I have been a member for 5 years and this year was the worst service of all. I called at 3pm on today 6/28/23 for a tow. After waiting for 2 hours of no text or update. I call back because my ride has been waiting along with me for them to arrive. I told them I was leaving my key and I would be at home waiting. After 3 additional hours with no one contacting me, I called back and asked what was the deal, because I have waiting over 5 hrs for a tow. The lady stated they can't find anyone to tow it because they can't tow it because of the garage clearance. Why didn't you tell me that 4 hrs ago? She also stated that I would be reimbursed if I find another company to tow it, but it would take up to 3 weeks to receive. I found someone else to tow the car after my son and I pushed it out of the garage, which I could of done had they told me that from the beginning. After getting towed I called back to cancel and asked about the reimbursement and the lady told me reimbursements are not guaranteed. WHAT?????? But the the call I made before the cancellation they told me I would be reimbursed???? I am so annoyed and frustrated with them.

      I called need a battery and waited 5 and half hours and no ever came.I received numerous robo calls that it would take longer. So after waiting so long I called and was told to call back!Such horrible customer **********************!!AAA is quick to take your membership fees. just don't expect service!!

      I called at 6:30PM on 6/25. I called back seven times after my 83 mins estimated arrival time came around (I even gave them a half hour of leeway). No one could give me an answer. All they (AAA) said was "we can't reach our contractor and our dispatcher can't reach them either." Four hours goes by. I took matters into my own hands and called a local tower who said "oh that's weird because we're contracted with them (AAA) and haven't gotten a call at all. In fact, we were out in that same area earlier today for a call." They arrived in 40 mins and my car was taken care of without my damage within 20 minutes. I paid the $105 fee and filed a complaint against AAA because I pay for their services and they never showed up and didn't bother to try and locate anyone else. They also provided very minimal communication and had the nerve to call me the following morning to ask if I still needed towing services. I was appalled. There's NO reason that this should've happened. Completely unacceptable.

      Called for lockout service , was told my membership was cancelled. My family has had AAA since **** and renewed 3 weeks ago. They said it was cancelled in 2018 , yet we used it last year and had just received updated cards with expiration dates of may ****. They then said it was because we didn't register in a new state. We used it LAST year , in the new state and the updated cards renewed last month were sent to the new address. After I secured help from another source they then corrected themselves "finding" our membership but took no responsibility for leaving ** stuck out in the rain. This company has gone down to new lows , stay away from AAA

      Being a premier member means nothing. My son, wife and 11 month old grandchild broke down 6 hours from home. They told AAA they needed a tow truck. One hour later, they literally sent a crackhead to them with a jump pack the size of a cell phone. He tested the battery and said the battery and alternator was bad without even checking the alternator. They called triple A back for a tow truck. They sent them a voucher for 20 dollars for a lift ride. It was going to cost them 180 just to get to their hotel 30 minutes away. This is unacceptable and triple A should not be in business.
