We had Carolina Septic Pro from ********** inspect a septic pump that failed. They had installed a new Liberty pump 2 1/2 years earlier except now the pump was no longer working and they would not honor the warranty saying it only had a 1 year warranty. The ************ has a 3 year manufacturer warranty. Their technician inspected the septic system. He said the pump had failed and that we needed to replace it. They gave us a price for emptying the tank and replacing the pump for $1300. They would not.offer and discount or honor any warranty on the pump maintaining the pump only had a one year warranty. When we asked to speak to the owner, we were told he was "out of the country".The woman handling customer service definitely needs definitely needs additional training in customer relations. We had another company come out and troubleshoot the problem finding the pump at the bottom of the septic tank was unattached to the pipe system. It turns out a blown 2A fuse in the control panel was the problem.

Unprofessional. I paid this company a deposit 4/2/24 after I was told they could start within a 2 week period. They kept giving me a date to start and then not coming out. I had to call several times because they would just not show up. We had good weather for the work to be done. After a month of waiting, I called again and asked why they haven't started. During that time, I could have hired another company and had the job done except they took my deposit so I couldn't hire anyone else. Finally, they decided to start the second week of May when the forecast is 10 days of rain. As you can imagine, that isn't something you want to happen during a septic and drain field installation. They severed my Water line and actually expected us to go without water until they came back. They severed my Internet cable twice, even after the tech that came out was laying a new one while they were here. Owner came to my house with a Pitbull. I never gave him permission to bring the dog to the jobsite. They left a hole at the end of my driveway which my car fell into. They had gravel they could have filled it with. I called about it. I was told to send a photo, which I did, but no response. Owner never came out when job was done to make sure everything was okay clearly demonstrating he didn't care whether it was left in satisfactory condition. His only concern was getting paid for the balance of the job.

Came to house and caused several $$$ damage. Called and get hung up on. Rudest people in a business I have ever dealt with. Please rad all these complaints and save yourself a lot of stress. I am assuming the owner of the company does t know how shady his employees are. Got another company to come out and was told he gets 5 calls a week to go fix this companies work. Beware

Terrible experience with this company. They quote you one price on the phone $300 to pump a **** gal tank, get here and begin work, then charge you $500 to pump your **** gal tank and charge an additional $250 to clean 6 ft of inlet pipe. Total $750.00. From Management to staff, all are very unprofessional. Save your money and call someone else.

I wish that I would have looked at reviews before having this company come to empty my tank. I was simply being proactive, did not have any issue or anything. They sent two guys out, he poked around to find the tank, he found it. He dug with the machine, at which time he yanked on some roots and let the machine bounce back which caused a hole in the tank. Unfortunately, we didn't catch a photo as it happened. The whole was right where he was poking with the stick to find it and the pole did not go down in the tank at that time. After photos show that the roots were ripped away and appears that the machine bounced back and made the howl. When my husband called the woman, ****, she was very rude and defensive. Told him nice try and basically hung up. Nice try? So, I call a couple of days later and ask to speak to the owner, the woman was pleasant enough and took my name for him to get back to me, by EOD no one had gotten back to me so I called again, this time the woman tells me he is unavailable in a way that meant never will be. I explained the situation to her, she became defensive, kept talking over me etc. After several times of her telling me they didn't do it I asked if she was telling me there was no way that machine could do that. She kept talking until I asked a fourth time and then she yelled at me "I don't know"! I am stressed and very disappointed that this is how a business handles itself. If they sent someone out to look at it, they would see this is what caused the hole. Now how do I fight this, spending more money in court? This is not going to cost me **** to replace and that is my life savings right now. They don't care anything about the customer, that much is obvious. And the manager it seems doesn't want to be bothered other than the income, if he is allowing these people to handle things, and in the poorest way possible. I am not sure they understand, nor do they care, how much money that is to us little folks, on one income.

DO NOT use this company under any circumstances unless you want to be taken advantage of and screwed out of money!!! This company is shady and dishonest! I unfortunately didn't find this out until I had to have another septic company come out after them. I was then informed that my tank only needed to be pumped which should have cost between $300-500 but instead Carolina Septic Pro lied and told me that I had issues in my drain lines and charged me $3,900 to do an unnecessary chemical treatment.

Needed my septic tank replaced after another company did the inspection and said it was in good shape, just had a cracked lid and one valve needed replacement. I bought the house and moved in, the next day the toilets were backing up. I called and spoke to **** who was very patient and kind, and she got a truck out the next day to pump the tank. ***** came out and showed me the tank was in fact crumbling, which the other company somehow missed, and after pumping showed me that it had a huge crack along the side. I was a little overwhelmed being a first time homeowner, who also never had septic before, and who was also juggling foundation repairs and other things, but ***** was amazing. He was so patient, went over the process and timeline, how to get a permit from the county, when theyd be able to schedule the replacement, and answered every single one of my questions. I got the permit and then had to go back and forth a couple times on the schedule mostly on my end trying to get the foundation work out of the way first and during this time I also spoke with **** and ***** via phone and text. They were both great also friendly, knew who I was immediately when I said my name or the address, both very prompt about follow up when needed. I put it together later on that ***** is actually the owner as well. The two guys who came out to actually replace the tank were also great. I only got one of their names, ****, I think, but both were friendly, polite, hardworking, and they had everything set up and working in no time. The inspector had them add a distribution box they werent expecting (also had them move the new tank further away from the house than the old one had been) but they took it in stride and figured it out without charging me any extra than what wed already agreed. Overall, because of their quality work, I dont think Ill need this company again for a while, but Im not calling anyone else for my septic needs, I can tell you that.
