    I learned about ***** **** ***** of Midtown Fence Company, LLC through a reference from a real estate agent. She had a client work with him years back without a hitch. So I went into the deal with complete confidence.
    **** initially came out to our property and measured on August 22nd. I tried calling him that day to discuss the fence and he couldn't talk, responding that he would call me in the morning. He texted again the next day around 1:52pm stating that he would call me later that day. We spoke the evening of August 23rd about my fence, going into detail about the type of fence and the plan to do it. He stated he was "5 to 6 weeks out." **** came back with an estimate on Aug 24th. We spoke on the phone after I received the estimate and again, "5 to 6 weeks" was the timeframe reiterated.

    We paid **** half of the total cost on 9/2/22 and effectively entered into a contract.

    We noticed ****'s communication was terrible after he received the check. He took several days to get back, stating issues with his father... looking back, probably not real, as I believe this was a planned scam.

    Cut to October 3rd, when he's supposed to start work that week or the week after. I hadn't heard from him in a month and he went silent, ignoring over 20 calls, text messages, and voicemails on both his cell phone and office phone.

    I requested that **** send me my money back by October 20th. Nothing yet.

    I wrote Midtown Fence company a check for 5,920.00 for a 50% deposit required with a contract to build a fence on 7/26/22. Mr. **** *****, the owner said he needed this money to order material. My family was told that the fence would be built in 4-5 weeks. It’s been 11 weeks currently and **** never showed up and will not return the money. He is getting deposits for work from consumers and never showing up to perform the work. All I want is my deposit money refunded.

    After having my fence installed, I notified the Owner of Midtown Fence that a few of the posts have been scratched during manufacturing and I wanted the warranty information on the vinyl fencing in case I ever needed to use it. I first notified him on 4/15/2022 and received a reply within 10 minutes acknowledging responsibility and said he would get on fixing the issue and getting the paperwork. On 5/22/2022, I reached back out to reply. I then reached back out on 6/1/2022 with a reply within 2 hrs acknowledging that he missed my last text and that he forgot about it all. He said "will get back on it!". That is the last I have heard from them as of 10/3/2022. I have sent several texts (that have been read because he has read receipts on) and called his cell phone numerous times. I would like financial compensation for the posts and not having any information on the lifetime warranty, which I would have gone with the other company I received a quote from.

    7/8/2022 I paid $10,000 to midtown fence company or ****. We never received the fence and have not received a refund. The company is unresponsive and unreachable. I would like my money back.

    A quote was provided by the owner of Midtown - and accepted. A check was written for a 50% deposit by me (homeowner) and cashed by the owner of Midtown. There was no communication for 3 weeks and only after I texted to find out the status did the owner tell me he was behind. In those 3 weeks, our plans changed and we wanted more fences installed and asked for a price on the difference. Nothing was ever sent. The owner of Midtown has since not spoken to me or responded to texts or answered his phone. I would like my deposit back so I may seek other arrangements.
