  I was told Aug. 14, 2023 that he would be her on Wednesday (20th) to start putting in my gutters.On 8/16/23 I received a text message that he had another job he had not completed but he would be here the first of the next week.He came over began with the gutters and on Friday afternoon he had not finished but ask me if I could pay him because he had bills to pay. I said sure and paid him.After many unanswered phone calls and text messages he finally came back.On March 22, 2024 he sent me a text that he was outside. He replaced the extender on the back porch downspout. I told him the problems with the front porch gutter and he is always telling me what I need.All I want if for the new and improved gutters to work as properly as the ones he removed, I don't know what needs to be done but the water runs behind the front gutter and into the sofit on the porch and drips on the floor. The moisture has caused black mold to grow on the sofit. The back gutter runs over the closed end and no water runs out from the downspout. His last visit was 03/22/24 and all I need is for him to complete the job or pay someone to have it done.I had another company come out to give me an estimate for gutter guards and was told that the gutters would have to be taken down and completely reinstalled because they were installed incorrectly.

  Hello in reference to the complaint concerning **************** I tried to respond online but it would not let me and I have tried to call a couple times so I'm sending this email to respond to the complaint per our conversation. 

   *************************** went to **************** house to install her gutters and per her instructions she wanted the gutters taken off and put back the same as the previous gutters but bigger 6 inch at this time she showed him the column on front porch she also wanted it replaced at this time there  water spots on the soffit on the front porch from leak that has nothing to do with the gutters we installed. We installed the gutters that day and when finished at the end of the day we asked for payment so we do not know what she is talking about. We asked for payment. Nothing was said about needing to pay bills, that is a false statement.   A week later he went back and purchased a new column from Lowes installed it. When he finished **************** said she did not have the funds to pay for it she would have to get it from her son. We have yet to be paid $375 for the job. In reference to the gutter she is saying is not draining properly he went over there and found the drainage pipe under her deck is damaged and not draining properly so on heavy rain days water coming off tin roof with a lot of water will not drain fast enough out of gutter due to her faulty rusted drainage that has nothing to do with the gutter he showed and explained this to her and put water hose in gutters showing they work properly.  He has been there 5 times since the install. Every time she does not come to the door if she was calling she has not been leaving a message only left 2 text messages and he responded. At this point  we feel we have tried to please **************** but the issues she is having has nothing to do with the gutters we installed and we showed her the issue. When it rains we will go back there to overlook and inspect our gutter job again but the issues she has complained about we have shown her the cause of the problem due to her drainage.

   I am rejecting this response because:

  This statement made here is untrue. The gutters are not installed properly.  I know what I paid him and know that he did tell me he would be back on a Monday and a week later after I had paid him, which he didn't because he was on a cruise. 

  I have all the text messages and I do not owe him $375.00.

  I don't know who answered this complaint, but this is definitely NOT true.

  The gutters originally installed never leaked between the gutter and wall like these are now.  

  I had a professional gutter company come because I wanted gutters and was told the new gutters were not installed properly.

  If I need to, I can call the ************************** to come out and inspect them if needed.

  I have all the text messages regarding the installation beginning 8/14/2023 through 8/23/2024.  If I need, I can get a copy of the times I called, and the calls never answered it needed.

  I can also call the Attorney General if I need to.  The way my gutters are installed is causing water to run into the soffit overhead on my porch.

  Every time he came over, he was always in haste to leave for another job.

  I told him I owed for the post and he told me no that was ok.  He gave me the receipt where he had purchased it from Lowes

  Again, the reply received is not completely factual.

  I can write a report and supply text messages, with time and dates if needed.

  Last Tuesday I called **************** and told her I would be there at the end of the week at that time she said everything was working fine, except a spot on the front soffit had a leak. I texted a couple days she did not respond she responded today and said she had been in the hospital and will be home tomorrow so I will reach back out and try to reschedule to go by and check the issue out. Nowhere in the messages did I say that she did not have to pay for the post installation. I gave her receipt showing her. I purchased the post in the cost.

   I am rejecting this response because:

  I am the one that called him. He sent me a text message but due to my medical issue I wasn't home. I left a message that I would be home tomorrow (which would be Friday 7/19/2024).

  I told him the gutter is leaking behind and the rain goes into the soffit on the porch.   When it rains the water runs between the gutter and the house.  I have relayed this message to him several times.

  The gutter is located on the front porch and even if or when he comes over, he can look at the gutter without me being here.  He has been here before to make repairs when I haven't been here.

  There are times when I am here, I am not able to answer the door because of medical conditions.

  I called him to see if this could be settled without any more issues.

  All I want is for the gutter installed properly so the water will quit running behind it and into my porch ceiling.

  On July 22 I went to Mrs ******* home to look at gutters we installed that she has a complaint about they had debris
  causing them not to flow properly. I cleaned it out for her and showed her the problem. I also found the tin roof did not come to the roofline where the soffit is leaking. I showed this to her, I have pictures to prove it the complaints that she has has nothing to do with the installation of the gutters, she needs to maintain her gutters and keep them clean of debris so they flow properly and she needs to get her tin roof repaired so rain water does not run back onto the soffit. At this point, I have done all that I can do to prove that the gutters was installed properly thank you Thank you have a great day.
