      My Anderson window was ordered under warranty six months ago . I was promised installation visit twice and they have not showed up with the replacement window that is sitting in there warehouse .I feel I have been discriminated because it is a small job of replacing one window . They are booked up thru April she says but can’t get a tech out to honor my warranty work so we can put our house on the market to sale

      This company is completely incompetent and negligent. Renewal by Andersen has sent the wrong window framing three times, which has delayed our kitchen renovation for months. Each time they "reschedule" it takes weeks and then another crew arrives with the wrong materials. We explain the issue again and are assured that the materials have arrived and we just need to be scheduled. We then have to wait for scheduling. Weeks later a crew arrives and says they were sent with the wrong materials... I do not understand how this entity remains in business.

      Our window was purchased in July of 2021 and installed two months later. All went well and the window looks great. Got a call in late 2022 that we had not paid the "backend" payment. We put half down and financed the remainder with GreenSky. We explained this to them. Then in Jan. 2023 we received a collection notice from TCI. After many calls back and forth and me confirming with the GreenSky that we had fulfilled the loan terms and that Renewal had been paid....the story changed. "Oh you didn't pay the front end payment." Wrong, we have the receipt, we have the contract stating that we paid and the terms that say you will not manufacture the window without initial payment. Now we have received a second collections notice. We have fulfilled our obligation and nothing but runaround form the business office. I have spent hours trying to resolve an issue that actually does not exist!

      We had Anderson install patio doors for us with pitiful timing and results. They messed up almost every aspect of a customer/vendor except getting the original order. They delayed us by over 6months and then did a terrible job with the original installation. They had to reorder a panel of the door that was damaged in shipping. They scheduled an install date and confirmed it then did not show up. On top of that they claimed they never scheduled the install and when I played the voice mail the representative left she claimed erroneously that that was NOT her voice. In other words she flat out lied.
      The installation was horrible and the rep who came to check on it made a long to do list. When he came back to complete the redo, he acted as if he had not been there before and even now the job looks bad. I make sure that everyone who visits us sees the lack of quality and professionalism provided by Anderson.
      After the job was supposedly finished we did not receive a follow-up bill until in December of 2022 we received a terse letter from TSI, their collection agency. We never received a bill from Anderson for the balance due. The day we received the bill we mailed a check for the balance due directly to Anderson in Greensboro as directed by the collection letter. It was written on December 21 and deposited on December 28.. Yesterday we received a second collection letter from TSI and today I called Anderson to express my displeasure. All in all the worst customer dis service experience I have ever experienced. I would recommend to anyone planning to do business With Renewal By Anderson that they take the money they planned to use and just burn it. You would get more satisfaction from a little heat than trying to deal with this company.

      I wish I’d read these other reviews before going with this company. Their salespeople are CON ARTISTS who promise things that aren’t in the contract and don’t stay involved after they trick you to purchase. During the install when issues arise their customer service reps (that have been falsely explained as your assigned personal contact) GHOST YOU AND WILL NOT HELP. I literally called our assigned person multiple times and couldn’t get an answer and then called the 800 number to discover…that SHE answered the call. Guess she has caller ID and didn’t want to help resolve the issues we were having. Their management is completely incompetent and didn’t allow enough time for our installers to finish our job before booking them to start new jobs. Mind you, ours had been planned 6 months ahead, so they had time to figure out a schedule. It took them TEN DAYS to do a 2 day job. A job they actually only schedule ONE DAY FOR. We were forced to take multiple vacation days because they were so unorganized. The interior was promised to be “paint ready” by our con-man-sales rep, but was actually left as a roughly plastered wall. NOT EVEN SANDED. Plastered wallboard. I’ve complained to MULTIPLE people including filling out a lengthy and detailed survey only to have NO ONE IN THE ENTIRE COMPANY CARE ABOUT HOW POORLY WE WERE TREATED. We paid $12k for two specialty windows and one standard. We weren’t even bothered by the high price because we thought we were going to have a great experience with them. Instead, this was THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. Do not be fooled or pulled into their lies. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I WOULD GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF IT WAS AN OPTION.

      Wildly disappointed at the number of broken promises made by these folks. Waited a very long time for the product to arrive. Received lots of excuses.
      Finally scheduled an install. I took off work. NO CALL, NO SHOW. More excuses. Installers finally came. Nice folks, but didn't finish the job because the sliding door threshold was only half the width it needed to be. I was very clear with the person who measured many months before that is was a custom width and he noted it as such.
      MONTHS go by with many more excuses. They finally send someone to my home, and I said, why not just modify the original threshold and re-use. He said "great idea". He said he would return in a day or two. Two weeks later he returns with no wooden plugs for the screw holes. Said he forgot them and that he would run to Home Depot and come back the next day. That was six weeks ago and he still has not returned despite my chasing after them by calling customer service more than once.
      HERE'S THE BEST PART....The work still isn't done but I get a letter yesterday saying they put a lien on my house for non-payment! Are you kidding?
      I WOULD NEVER DO BUSOINESS with this totally amateur, totally disorganized, totally unethical so called company ever again. NEITHER SHOULD YOU!

      Installers lost a screw to finish the door. Promised they'd return at our convenience to finish the job. We have called many times and nobody returns our calls. It's been over a month and our door still doesn't close properly because they didn't finish the job but they were very quick to take the payment.
