      Contract with Future Homes to built a modular home in **********************, **. Building retainer of $3,000 was provided Sept 16, 2023. On Oct 14, 2023 contract was signed we gave Future Homes $175,000. The modular home was soon completed in ** but remained there while the sites was prepared. There was delay after delay in preparing the site - truthfully some relating to strict building restrictions at ********************** which impacted what needed to be done - but not the rate at which they were done. July 24 the home was delivered to the site -- 9 months after signing the contract. We had paid $50,000 to have the foundation incapsulated and it was not - vents were put into the foundation which now needed to be closed off. More delays. We were told the average time after the home is placed on site is 4 months - about Nov 2024 --- we are still not into the home and it is Feb 2025 - 3 months over. I know going over is not uncommon but at this time there is no close date set --- we just waited 3-4 weeks for the final inspection to be done on Tuesday, Feb 11 --and Future Homes just informed us the inspection failed about 18 items. We were told all was done to pass inspection. The failed items are common items which should have been completed, prior to the inspection. At this time, we are very frustrated and are questioning the competency of those who are tasked with this build. Future Homes has had $178 of our money since Oct 2023 --- and all of the construction draws amounting to $325, 000 have been paid to them.... currently we have paid them $503, 000 and there is no close date and no guarantee that the next inspection will pass. Also, inspections at ********************** are very difficult to schedule and it is possible their next open date may be at the end of February -- if not early March 2025. Please help us - we are at a loss.

      There were several delays during the construction process for the ********* home, as mentioned mostly due to **********************. Yes, the foundation was not originally built to be enclosed, which has been corrected.  From looking at notes in the file it appears that the final inspection was completed in late February not long after the message was sent to BBB.  The customer has received their keys and moved in.  I believe that the Project Coordinator has reviewed our service process for any items not correct or warrantable items.  I hope they feel free to contact Future Homes directly for specific questions or service requests.
