      In 2007 we purchased windows at a total cost of *****. The windows have a lifetime warranty. On November 30, 2023 we contacted G&S Contracting that one window, in the master bedroom, had 2 pins which were broken. One window, in the guest bedroom, has fogged between the panes and needs to be replaced. On December 1,2023 an employee of G&S came to the house and confirmed that both ************* to be addressed. He stated he would place the order for replacement. We left multiple messages to check the status, with no return calls. December 10,2023 we did get the owner on the phone and he stated he was having trouble with his distributor and not sure when the problem would be fixed. He also stated that he was aware of the lifetime warranty. He left it at that, unresolved. We would like the pins replaced and a new window installed per the lifetime warranty.

      We installed windows in this condo in 2007.  ************ called us about repairs.  One of our men stopped by to examine the problem.  He got the numberfrom the windows.  We could not find *********** in our system.  We sent the window number to Sunrise windows and it was not their windows.  *********** said they were going to report us to the BBB.  I told him we were doing our best but we couldn,t find that name in our system.  He then informed she had a different name in 2007.  We found it in our system and the Mfg is Soft Lite Windows.  I called and told him what we found and that the Lifetime warranty is from the Manufacture not G & S.  I politely told him we would do what we could but not if he continued to threaten us.  No contractor I know of gives a long term maintenance warranty especially 17 years.  If they do the customer has to buy a labor warranty.  ***** used to offer those.
      We have always tried to give our customers quality products at a fair price.  He said something about her renting this unit in the past which possibly void the factory warranty.
      We will try to help if they can be nice and thayhave to pay the labor.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      We also looked at the sticker on the inside of the windows and it was labeled with my maiden name, ******.  My first name was the same and the address was the same, so a marriage would be the assumption.  
      min *********************************************** our complex windows and every homeowner was told there was a lifetime warranty.  
      ****** from G and S called and said he had ordered the parts (which were under warranty) but wed have to pay for the labor. We waited a month, as advised, but the next correspondence was that G and S were not going to fix the windows.  They suggested we try to contact the dealer.  I asked if the parts had ever been ordered, they would never reply.

      - Warranty is only valid through the manufacturer. G & S Contracting does not provide warranties or manufacture products.
      - Consumer has been provided the contact information and paperwork for a warranty claim submission.
      - G & S Contracting is more than happy to assist in the installation and repair, provided the consumer pays for the labor.
