I have tried multiple times to cancel and have told this business multiple times I cannot talk on the phone, yet they still call me and also request for me to call them to "discuss" a resolution. I have not received services from this company since February 2023, yet they are still charging me, even after they have supposedly cancelled my account.Business Response

A Insight employee came to my door and was trying everythign in the book to get me to sign up. I said leave your card and I will look inot it. He would not, he just kept trying to force me to sign up. I told him I had somewhere to go and he would not leave. He was asking all kinds of pesonal questions too, etc.Business Response

Predatory practices! I live in a no solicitation neighborhood and we received several visits from sales reps. ** children were given cards and asked to give times I would be available. Rep advised me to cancel my service with another provider as they had a no obligation contract, cancel anytime and would save me 40 a month on my service with no change in what we would receive. I had 1 person come once, did not do any of what was promised and my card continued to be charged. I disputed the charge with my bank and advised a rep that called me that I did not want to continue service....I recently received a collection notice for the amount of the contract that I was told was no obligation. That is a false advertisement from what was offered by reps who continuously visited my home and weren't honest about their policies. ** credit will take a hit and I have not had pest control for over a year....reading the reviews and complaints and wondering how this can continue to happen and they remain in business.Business Response

Signed up with the company over a year ago. Service was good. I moved last year, asked the tech if service is the same. He said yes, I can stil receive all my same service just at a different location. For some reason ended up with a new tech who told me that the services I was asking him to perform were not included in my contract. After almost a year of paying monthly for services and them being inadequate I contacted via email on March 16th (right after a monthly charge of $79) requesting to cancel service since it no longer did any good for me since tech says my whole front yard and mail box isn't included. Pointless to do half my front yard for fire ants with my kids.) I received an email back that says they have received my request and sending it to specialist. On April 11th I received an email that they have tried to contact me regarding my request to terminate service. I contacted them by phone on the 11th to discuss to ensure no more payments. I received a call back on April 14th, the rep offered me to provide me the services I was originally receiving bc she did not see where in my contract it said the areas in which they could or could not treat and also offered a discount, all this pending supervisor approval. She asked me if she could get me on the schedule for Monday. I let the rep know Monday would be good, but let's wait to hear back from the supervisor and to make sure I'm not charged again unless we figure something out. I did not have anymore contact with the company. I now have a other $79 charge after explicitly communicating my desires to not be charged unless i agreed to further terms of service. I have the emails and I'm sure the phone calls are recorded, at least should be. I feel Insight Pest solutions should refund me March and April payments of $79, March of which I hadn't used services (since feb 1) and April of which I had clearly communicated verbal and written a desire to stop services and at no point agreed to more.Business Response

I have contacted this company on numerous occasions always waiting on hold for extended periods of time . I was assured by customer service representative that a supervisor would return my call and that never happened. It is too expensive, I live on a fixed income and now they want me to pay for a service which I have not received. At some point, businesses should not be able to do thisBusiness Response

We're sorry that you had an ineffective service and we're also sorry that you had a negative experience with our customer service. We want to try and clear things up with you so you're aware of what we know. Two things that should be noted is that according to the notes on your account, a technician did perform a service in November. The service was performed early in the morning and it's possible that the technician didn't notify you when they arrived. The reason why is unknown, but a service was definitely performed on that day. Another thing worth noting is that a supervisor did call you on the 10th March and you did not answer, nor were they able to leave a message. In order to help resolve your issues, communication is as important on your end as it is on ours. We apologize for any communication issues we may have caused. It looks like you have chosen to send a check to cover your payments. We're still willing to help make things easier for you as you make your payment. A salesman came to my door asking if I would try out their company. I agreed as I didn't have a pest company. He said I could cancel at anytime if I didn't agree with the service. He explained everything they would do each time they come out. Come to find out everything he said was a lie. They do a terrible job. They are present when they come out five minutes. I called ro cancel and now they say I'm stuck paying for this terrible service for one year. I never signed a one year contract with them. They forged my signature on documents. I do not and have not wanted their service. They tell me there is nothing they can do the several times I've called.Business Response

It is worth noting, however, that Pest Control takes time to be effective and for the first few days after service, you might actually see an increase in pest activity because they're no longer able to hide. A person came and took my details to come do pest solutions spray at my house on Thursday. I gave them my payment information and they never came on Thursday when they said so I cancelled my payment information. It came on Friday and wanted to spray. I was not home. My mother was here watching my children and told them no not to come and spray. They sprayed for five minutes. Did not listen to her. The week later she called me for payment information. I said no I did not want them to come back and do anything. I did not think that I needed to pay because they did not fulfil the rental bargain and they said too bad. Then I asked where my contract was and told they emailed it. Now here we are three years later they sent me to collections and charge me a contract cancellation charge when I don’t even have a copy of the contract because they cannot get my name spelled right or they cannot send me a contract. I’m very dissatisfied with this company and do not want to give them any business at all. If business is conducted business like this, it would not make any money at all totally disgraceful. I do not have any documents to upload as I still do not have a contract. I have not paid the bill in full reluctantly, because they gave me no other option.Business Response

Sales Manager from Insight Pest Solutions came to our door with an **** and signed us up for a special on Pest Control one time treatment. We paid the amount of 202.27 and the job was scheduled and done.
We later get a call from a Collection Agency demanding payment, we tried to tell the Insight Pest Sollutions Accounts Department that we had paid it on June 3 and posted on our Credit Card June 6, they were no help to us and said the file was all transferred to a Collection Agency.
We asked the Collection Agency why we had a bill outstanding and they said we had a service on Sept. 2 2022. They had our wrong phone number and email address and they added early termination fee of 113.00 on top of the amount we had already paid and said it was a September 2nd service. At no time did we get a call or email regarding this service or that someone came to the house to do the service. I believe this is a scam and negligent on the Insight Pest Solutions, please help resolve this.
I have no option but to pay this I am told without it affecting my credit score, this is a scam.Business Response

On Dec 29/2022 an agent of Insight Pest control shows up and advises me that he is here to spray the property. I refused and told them not to do the service not now or in the future. I was billed 361.60 the next day on my **** ***** I refused the charge with **** at once. This firm did the same to us a few months ago. I do want to address something I noticed. If we have your **** **** information, it's possible that you are currently signed into a contract with us. Did you reach out to us for services in the past? That might be the reason why an agent arrived to spray the property and charged you without your knowledge. Regardless, we are willing to help you and I hope you can get this problem sorted out with the customer service at your local franchise.

I am rejecting this response because: We initially contracted for one spray job only. They then went ahead earlier in 2022 to spray without our consent. Then again in January they showed up and we told them not to spray and they did again against our will. The next time if there is one we will charge them with trespassing and fraud.

There must've been miscommunication between you and whoever you signed the agreement with because from what you're telling me, it sounds like you are currently receiving a quarterly or tri-annual service plan. As I said before, I can't help you from my current location because you were serviced by one of our independently owned franchises.
