They will ask for your credit card to run a tab. Alcohol prices are not disclosed. When you ask for your bill, you will just receive the credit card payment receipt for you to sign, not an actual bill with the charges listed. This way they can overcharge you for alcohol and add an automatic 20% tip without your consent. We were charged $32 for a double ****'s Vodka with cranberry juice and a pint of *** beer. This included the automatic 20% gratuity. When the bartender was questioned about the charges, they explained $10 for a shot of ****'s and $7 for the *** beer; however, they again did not disclose the automatic gratuity. Others have stated there is a sign posted regarding this gratuity but I did not notice and if it exists it is not prominent. I believe this is a purposely deceptive business that attempts to scam their non-regulars (i.e. tourists) visiting OIB by deliberately overcharging and adding a deceptive, non-consensual, excessive gratuity. There are multiple other similar establishments within the immediate **************** area that we have frequented regularly that do not resort to these types of deceitful business practices. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone visiting OIB take their money to any other place - (******'s, ********* ****** ************* than spend it at ************************. You have been warned.

After reviewing the events & realizing there are 3 sides to every story. We have 6 signs posted in yellow saying we have the right to add an auto gratuity of 20% to any tab. We very rarely do it unless its a large party or someone is being very obnoxious & disrespectful. In this case it was the latter. The bartender has been reprimanded as far as not showing the guest check with the break down of drinks We have been in business 16 years and treat both ***************** with respect . This was an isolated incident & for some reason you decided to write the better business bureau? I hope you have a blessed day!
