      I had a salary advance account that I always paid on time up until I was out of work on leave. I had $250 in my savings and asked for it to be transferred to reduce the balance owed. As soon as I went back to work it was paid off. I asked if they could reopen early as a courtesy as I had no choice but to close it due to being on medical leave from work and I wanted to atleast pay half from my savings. I was told if I made the transfer from my small savings it would close the account and I agreed.Would someone be able to reopen as a courtesy as I truly enjoyed the perks of having the account to use as a cushion.

      I have late payments from STATE EMPLOYEES CU/PSC on my credit report. I have been on time for 99% of my payments. The months that report a late payment was due to an ACH payment issue with my bank and I was never notified about it. I would like to ask if upper management could submit a request to the credit reporting agencies to remove the late payments.

      I do not have a debt with State Employee Credit Union nor do I have an account with this establishment. I have not signed a contract pertaining to this debt and have not received any information or proof of this debts legitimacy. I request for this charge to be removed from my credit report.

      I do not have an account with ********************************************* but it shows on Transunion, Equifax and Experian on my credit report for $10,295. I never had any contract or agreement with this company. I do not have any financial obligations to the what so ever to them.

      November 2023 I applied for a mortgage loan. I paid for the appraisal. I did every step required of me asked by the bank. December 27 2023 I ended up in the hospital and was unable to sign the documents. I asked the loan officer if I could send my daughter (who has power of attorney) to sign the documents and was told no. In order for her to sign the documents I would have to pay an attorney ******. I got clearance from my doctor to take a short 4 hour leave from the hospital on Friday 3/15/24 to go the the nearest branch on 3/20/24 to sign the documents before the 120 days expired. I reached out to the loan officer ****** to let her know that I had clearance on Friday and left a message she was supposed to relay a message to another loan officer ************************* to go ahead and process the documents over to the ************** secu. I get 10 minutes away from the branch on 3/20 and get a call from ************************* say that we wouldnt be able to close today because they were missing the property report. All of the reps knew that I wasnt using an attorney to close and I was signing for myself so there should not have been a problem with the paperwork. I am not able to come back out of the hospital again until I am discharged. This has been a great inconvenience.

      I went into the Secu Bank located on ************** with the intent of opening an account. I was turned away because apparently, someone has already made an account with my social security number. I visited the bank on 2/28/2024. It is now 3/8/2024 and nothing has been done about the situation. I am still unable to open an account due to the fraud. I am confused as to why they are giving the perpetrator so much ******

      I am a long standing member with the credit union who also has an excellent credit history and a history of making all of my loan payments on time. SECU's process for notifying a member of a late payment is wholly unacceptable. I made an error and thought that I transferred my mortgage payment, but apparently had not. I received 1 nondescript voice mail from the credit union offering zero information as to the reason for the call. They waited 2 full weeks, until the payment was 30 days late to attempt another call. My point is, that as a member in excellent standing they should have recognized this was not within a normal pattern and taken the initiative to actually call back and speak to me about this. They said they sent a notice in the mail, but they send a notice every time you make a transfer, to the point where you begin to disregard them. My point is not that the initial mistake wasn't mine, my point is that I expect more from the credit union. Instead, they sit back and wait until their system spits out a report to make a phone call. If my Amex bill was late, I can assure you I would have known about that before it went 30 days late. very disappointing and really unacceptable. They also refuse to consider making an adjustment to the credit report, just constantly stating what their "process" is.

      I never received a Private Policy Notice or Opt Out Notice from creditor.Under the ********************************** *** financial institutions must give privacy notices to their customers and consumers a "clear and conspicuous" written notice describing their privacy policies and practices. The Privacy Rule protects a consumer's "nonpublic personal information" (NPI). NPI is any "personally identifiable financial information" that a financial institution collects about an individual in connection with providing a financial product or service, unless that information is otherwise "publicly available."The Privacy Rule applies to businesses that are "significantly engaged" in "financial activities" as described in section 4(k) of the ******************** ***. Your activities determine whether you are a "financial institution" under the Privacy Rule. According to the ******************** *** provision and regulations established by the ********************** "financial activities" include:lending, exchanging, transferring, investing for others, or safeguarding money or securities. These activities cover services offered by lenders, check cashers, wire transfer services, and sellers of money orders. providing financial, investment or economic advisory services. These activities cover services offered by credit counselors, financial planners, tax preparers, accountants, and investment advisors. brokering loans. servicing loans.debt collecting.Whether or not you share customer NPI, you must give all your customers a privacy notice. You must provide an "initial notice" by the time the customer relationship is established and annual notices afterwards.Under GLBA, penalties for non-compliance can include fines of up to $100,000 per violation, with fines for officers and directors of up to $10,000 per violation. And if that wasn't enough, the provisions include criminal penalties of up to five years in prison, and the revocation of licenses.
