We received an email stating that we need to find to stop all transactions on our bank account because it is being closed. One lady from ****************** location called while I was at work and I could not take the phone call because I am a teacher at a high school. She did not attempt to call back to speak with me or to offer any suggestions or help. We have been in a financial bind because I was not receiving a salary because again, I am a teacher and did not get paid during the summer months nor was I able to find part time employment. I also tried to do stop payments on some things and tried to stop others from taking out payments with failed attempts. We have since paid down/off debt. With that being said, I dont have the time nor does my husband to just change bank accounts. It is a process that is lengthy and requires more than a few weeks. However, if she would have actually taken the time to speak with us rather than just assume we are bad customers, this situation would have been rectified sooner. Not to mention, neither of us live or work in ************** and going there would require a day of missed work and 40 mins out of my way trip. I would much rather switch to one of the ******* Branches where I have worked me down the street from my house and one across the street from the school I work for.Business Response

I'm not liable for this debt with State Employees CU/PSCU I do not have a contract with a collection agency trying to collect this debt. They did not provide me with the original contract as requested. Correct my credit report, I demand this item be removed immediately.By the provisions of the Fair Credit Reporting Act, I demand that these items be investigated, validated, and removed from my report. I bought a car using my credit union as the lender on November 16th 2022. I also payed for gap Insurence just in case. June 26th the vehicle was totaled. ****** owed, the Insurence payed ***** and the gap Insurence refused to pay the *** in the total even though this is why we purchase gap.Business Response

According to Title 15 U.S. Code ****a; Rule of Construction, it states a " "consumer report" does not contain information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report;". I examined my credit report and found that a negative item, a late payment dated in August of 2023 with the Account Number: ********** is currently being reported. The reporting of a late payment or credit note is considered a "transaction" which is a violation of Title 15 U.S. Code ****a; Rule of Construction. In accordance with the fair credit reporting act. The list of accounts below has violated my federally protected consumer rights to privacy and confidentiality under 15 USC ****.Business Response

Dates vary from 08/11/2023, unauthorized debit card purchases that depleted checking and savings account, the ********************************************* has not replaced/refunded the funds to both accounts. I noticed I had late payments from STATECU on my credit report. During these months I did not receive anything stating I was late. As you can see, majority of my payments have been on time so I am requesting the removal of these late payments from my account. I am trying to increase my score to purchase a home and would greatly appreciate if you guys can submit a request to the credit reporting agencies to remove the late payments.Business Response
