      My company uses this hotel for travel. We stayed in this hotel for a few months. My travel partner banged his foot and ankle on the hanging piece of metal frame under the bed. It swelled for a few days and aggravated his toes. The manager rewarded us points however the next day. The hotel manager, assistant manager and the front desk manager verbally accused me of lying. I felt like I was being physically attacked. We're were asked to leave the hotel. This is not how you do business when your hotel is at fault. S**** you Best Western ****.

      My friend and I were coming in town for our high school reunion and booked a room here at this location. Approximately A MONTH LATER, 3 days prior to our event, my friend was called and notified she couldn’t book it because she only lived 43 miles away. Ok, no big deal, we will book it in my name. So THEN Vicki, the manager, tells me that I can not have ANYONE at the hotel. I explain I work 4 hours away, I am coming in for the weekend, it’s a class reunion and of course I will have visitors (as several from the reunion were there and we plan to hang out and catch up) including my children, but that no one will be staying. She explained that I can’t have children there “Incase they fall down or something and sue”. I explain my children are grown and that will not be an issue. I even offered to pay extra or add them to the. She then explains that “Were not even supposed to have people here because of COVID”. I explain that I am a travel nurse, frequently stay in hotels and that doesn’t seem to be the case anywhere else. While having this conversation I was at work, in a room full of people and had terrible reception. I could hear Vicki saying hello…hello, and before I reached a spot with better service, she hung up. Me knowing I would call back after work didn’t think it would be a problem. Vicki proceeded to then call my friend back and state I “raised my voice and said I WAS bringing my children and therefore our reservation was cancelled”. She upheld this “policy” that is stated NOWHERE on their site or BestWesterns site in general.
      Vicki was rude, she is a liar and sure doesn’t deserve to be a personality for such a large company. On their review portion on fb, most complaints are about her, and one even mentioned a whole thread about what a terrible manager she is and there is a whole thread about her.
      I was discriminated against and denied a room because I have children. That was her whole issue.
