      On 11/23/2023 I rented a room at Super 8 by ******* in **********, **************. My initial booking was from 11/23/2023 to 11/26/2023. I was informed that a $40 deposit would be withheld until I checked out. Upon talking to one of the receptionists at the front desk, she told me that if I used Wyndham Rewards, I could save money on my room reservations. I had forgotten that I used to have a Wyndham account, so I contacted ******* and reactivated my old account. When speaking to a ******* representative I was told that in order for my points to register I would have to checkout of the hotel then check back in and wait 5 days to see my points on my Wyndham Rewards account. So, I checked out on 11/26/2023 and made a new reservation for later on that day. When checking out I specifically asked the manager if my $40 deposit would be going back to my debit card, and she said yes. So, upon making a new reservation I had to pay another $40 deposit to Super 8. So that was $80 in deposits paid to Super 8. A few days later I went to the front desk to modify my reservation. The receptionist informed me that I would be charged a third deposit of $40, which brought the grand total of deposits to $120. I have been checked out of the hotel since 12/02/2023, and I have not received even one of the $40 deposits back. I have read multiple reviews about this hotel and multiple people said they failed to get there deposit back. I spoke to one receptionist who has been trying to help me and she said I wasn't the only customer who was trying to recover their deposit that day. She said it was a computer error and the manager had to go into something called fuse box, which is ran by *******. But when I called back a manager, who by the way was very rude told me that the hotel didn't owe me anything. She said that I already received my deposit back, which is a lie. I closely monitor all of my accounts, and I get alerts about every single transaction made on my account.
