Agreed to have Home Comfort install a new ** System in my home, in April, 2023, install done in my home on May 12, 2023, my home flooded from their install on May 17, 2023, they came back to my home May 18, 2023 (the owner NEVER came to see the damage or failed install) they could not repair the failed install and left my attic soaking wet. I needed to have my insurance come to my home to start restoration work quickly after, his insurance did not call me for 9 days. The inspection of the ** install was failed by Mecklenburg County on 5/24/23 (Home Comfort pulled the permit AFTER the install with is a county and state violation) Restoration work had to be done to avoid mold in my home from the condensation water they ran down my truck line and not out of my home properly, I paid Home Comfort $5470 for the ** system, asked for his install cost, he refused to write or call back. I paid for an Attorney letter $150, he refused to respond. I paid $1684 and $850 to have my ** fixed from his failed install done by a professional company (Healthy Home ****************************** I need to be refunded by Home Comfort $8154.00. I sent to him an email on 1/13/24 requesting this amount, he continues to refuse to respond. Please see ** State HV** *************** attached letter to Home Comfort regarding violations. Thank you.

To Whom it may ******************** customer has tried to profit from this insurance claim since day one.  She refused entry on the day of incident for my techs to clean, remove the wet drywall, and wet vacuum the carpet by locking the door and claiming the insurance company need to see the damage first. This was a $1000.00 *** repair and clean up if she would have allowed us in.  We tried to take care of the customer, but couldnt have a sensible conversation with her, she continually stated that there was over $100,000 in damages and as the insurance payment reflects, there was not.  One example, she wanted the boards removed from the attic, laid in her yard to be dried in the sun, the actual boards from her trusses that held her house up. She is looking for a free A/C.  She was made 100 percent whole by the insurance company, all damage repairs, all her clothes were dry cleaned and $750 for a hair drier and curling iron.  We didnt fight for one thing, and it was paid for in full.   You can confirm this with *************** at ********************************* which used to be Nationwide years ago.  Phone Number ************ or email ***************
Unfortunately, your system does not allow us to answer everything in full or submit the amount of needed documentation we have collected for proceeding to court with this customer.  Under advisement we are refusing her offer,as she will still have the equipment (for free) and think she has an unlimited ability to make warranty claims and have fake proposals made up to be paid for by us.We have only one offer for this customer;  ###### See Attachment #####

I am rejecting this response because Home Comfort failed to install my new Comfort Aire AC system properly, they cannot be trusted. I am not tearing my AC system out after spending thousands of dollars to get it running safely due to Home Comfort's failed install on May 12, 2023 and second attempt to fix it in May 18, 2023. ************************* failed to communicate since last May 2023, we had a handful of items to review and he refused to respond. Please see the review attached from 8 years ago in Yelp, there is a second part to it I cannot attach but happy to send, same business address under Home Pros Heating and Cooling, ****************************************************** and it does not look like it was resolved. I have plenty of documentation if anything else is needed. I have attached Healthy Homes final bill that includes their invoice #1-5 that had to be fixed from Home Comfort's failed install. The passed permit is on the Mecklenburg County Permit website area, you will see that Healthy Home did the repairs. The license number for Home Pros ********************** and Cooling is under review. Happy to help. Thank you.
