      I lived in ************* Apartments in ********* ** and I moved out and the company refused to give me my deposit of $1642.50 back, I paid my deposit so I would be able to get it back to put on another place when I move out, company is saying that they deducted $75.00 for trash removal, $4.62 for 3 light bulbs replacement., Replace a globe in hallway light they charge me *****, replace shower rods in both bathroom for $51.60, why would i have to replace shower rods, replace carpet in living room and master bathroom for $1113.15 this is outrageous, my carpet was like new, i lived alone and there was nothing wrong with carpet and if carpet needed to be replace why did someone moved in my apartment at *********************** the very next week, no way they replace that carpet, then they charged me for bedroom#2 & 3 to clean carpet $67.50, they also charge me prorated July rent of $480.16, I was told by ****** that runs apartment that they had plenty of people waiting on my apartment from her waiting list, after all the deductions they still tell me I owe them $166.23, how is this possible, my rent was always paid on time, and my apartment was always clean, these people is such a fraud, and never like giving people their money back, i thought reason why we pay a deposit is to protect our selves from been scammed by the landlord, this is not right and i am sure you may have heard from other tenants from this landlord, i like to have my deposit return to me as i faithfully gave it to them.

      Thank you for taking the time to discuss your concerns with our office yesterday. As mentioned on the phone we do not own the property that you lived in. We manage the property for an individual owner. It is our responsibility as the property manager to charge for tenant damages. The money goes to the owner of the property to reimburse them for expenses they would not have had should the damage not occurred. We understand that not all damage is intentional, however we must go by the pictures and inspection report completed upon move out.       I am rejecting this response because: my apartment was in perfect order and there was no damages, I want my deposit back, you will never have to ever worry about me wanting to move back in your property again, i am not satisfied, i want my deposit back.

      I have lived at this address for over 5 years. I have always paid my rent on time and I have always carried renters insurance. Recently a person named **** ***** claims JW Hunter turned Richland Hills property over to her. No formal letter just a email from her. I want a formal letter from JW hunter saying they no longer control the Richland Hills properties.

      Find out why **** has charge me rental insurance when I have carried the same insurance for over 15 years. If this person knew when the date this insurance expired the she should have noticed that this insurance was paid in full 2 months before it was due. **** took it upon herself to charge me her insurance when she should have known I had a policy. I sent JW Hunter a copy of this policy. I also just to be safe sent this person a copy that was returned by USPS. I want a credit for $13.92 charged to me in error and I need a formal letter from JW Hunter stating they no longer control the Richland Hills properties. I never had this problem when Amy, who works for JW Hunter was manager. If BBB checks JW Hunter web site you will notice that it says to contact *** not ****.

      **** and *** both work for JW Hunter Company. *** was the
      leasing consultant for Ms. *******'s unit until recently. The property was
      reassigned to another office and **** is now her leasing consultant. We believe
      that this is a simple misunderstanding. We reached out to Ms. ******* and have come to
      an agreement with her.
