The staff members of Precision are very unprofessional and do not provide quality snow removal service. They continue to clear snow off of my property when I didnt hire them to do so. Therefore they are trespassing on private property. They are apparently unable to read house numbers. They wake you up in the middle of the night to the sound of them scraping snow off of your step and driveway even though I have repeatedly asked them not to. If I wanted to hire out for a professional snow cleaning service it would NOT be Precision.

Thank you for your feedback; in your emails, on our ******** page, and through the Better Business Bureau. As we discussed over email, we acknowledge that you are not a customer of ours.  In addition, we acknowledged that mistakes happen; our hardworking, dedicated employees meant no harm when they mistakenly shoveled snow at your home in the middle of the night - in a blizzard.  I am 100% certain of that.

You live in a 16-unit townhome complex where we service multiple adjacent properties on both sides of your home - with shared driveways.  ******** is dedicated to perform efficient, timely, and cost-effective snow removal as part of our dedication, you received free (albeit inadvertent and unsolicited)snow removal service.  No one was hurt no damage was done.

In the future, we plan to brief all crew members dispatched to our customers in your development on the importance of not crossing the property line on the shared driveway you have with your neighbors.  In addition, we have created clear instructions on our work orders detailing the same.

We apologize for any trauma and despair this has caused and will do everything in our power in order to prevent it from happening in the future.

Precision L&L three years at two different houses, Fargo. First was excellent because the driveway faced south, received high *** from sun =snow and ice-free, except H*** freezes a few weeks. Next time, Nort Facing, Dooh! Oh well, live and learn. I am also a general contractor and own two small businesses; I speak to the guys that take care of my lawn and explain my neighbor's and My expectations and adjustments to desires. Stay in contact ***** and ******* and let them know ur needs. Always accommodating and patient with me regarding business, even if im out of town three months late on payment. I have personally driven a Case 721F wheel loader, and a few ***** L70s and L90s on my driveway never had cracks. I have never seen PL&L(Precision) harm my concrete. I have seen owners over-salted it or contractors over-vibrated, created a soft cream layer to make their finish trowel or Curbing job easier, causes pitting, gouging, and spawling. I have repaired many concrete projects from residential to ***** Runway. The Civilian/Military team cut, filled and repaired about **** spawls 3 feet deep(Runway pressure req.) in 3 days. Poor concrete is a sign someone rushed it or the crew was lazy, inexperienced, or hurried. Besides level it, quickset45 or 90 with fibrous resin, it will last years, do it right. Precision has been great for me, I recommend them. They take good care of us and are friendly people. Don't blame snow/yard ***, blame the *** that built you pavement, didn't tamp correctly, or even skipped putting class 13 with ***************** 1/3/5 if deep enough and tamp every 2 feet up as filling, or didn't crack seal, or didn't use rebar and instead galvanized cattle fence, didn't cut or install expansion joint or use tar-felt, didn't use Sikaflex, didn't use tables on the rebar, didn't hammer drill deep enough to set the rebar, didn't slope properly or pour forms deeper around the outside edge to prevent cracking. Many issues that are not the lawn/snow company's fault.

In the fall of 2022, I was referred to Precision Lawn and Landscape for snow removal. I live in a home that was built in 2019. Every year, we have had snow removal with no problems. In a text, I had asked Precision Lawn and Landscape to please be careful with our newly refinished porch. I have a copy of the text. They acknowledged that they would be careful. As the snow is now melting, two items have been damaged and destroyed. The porch has deep gashes in it from their snow shovels. Not only did they scrape off the finish, but they put deep gashes in the wood finish and it probably will not be repairable. The smart elec owner replied We could not have done anything differently. They *could* have been careful with their shovels that dug deeply into the wood. I dont even think the situation is repairable. Next, my driveway is completely RUINED. I have had snow removal with other companies in the past 4 years with no problem at all. Not even a **** on the concrete. In addition, I had the concrete driveway sealed in the summer of 2022. My concrete driveway has almost turned to gravel due to their snow plows being dropped onto the concrete. The damage is in a linear fashion - along the lines of a snowplow blade dropping. To add even more insult to the situation, the owner of the company ************************* is one of the more unprofessional and rude individuals Ive dealt with in quite some time. The damage to the concrete is so obviously done by a snow plow, but he/she is stated you should go read up about concrete the damage is obviously not done by the snow plows, its the way the concrete is produced. Really? As I already stated, the concrete was perfect for 5 years until their snow plows ruined it. A lot of damage to my home from an irresponsible company. Unfortunately, small claims court will now be in order due to the lack of responsibility of the owner of this company.

**** hired us to do her snow removal during the 2022/2023 winter. She asked that we be careful when shoveling her wooden porch area, as she had recently resealed it. In an email from her last fall, she said "last year there were big gashes from rough handling of a snow shovel" (which would have been done by her previous snow removal contractor and hence why she was resealing the patio in the first place). Yet she claims here that "over the past 4 years (with her previous company) she has had snow removal with no problems Her statements are completely contradicting one another! Upon signing up for service with us last fall, we acknowledged her request regarding her newly resealed porch area and said We will make a note to be careful on the new porch/steps. We only use plastic shovels which helps in not damaging property. At no point did we guarantee she would not see any wear/tear from shoveling this area. There is nothing we could have done differently to prevent the usual wear/scratching that inevitably will occur from shoveling. Its pretty uncommon to see someone put in a wood porch as a front entry, as snow obviously needs to be shoveled off of it regularly. Wood is not an ideal/durable material to be used in such a high traffic area, so to keep such an area perfect is very unrealistic. She probably should have used a different material here when she replaced it, as it was evident from her past experiences that shoveling snow from the wood deck is bound to leave some scratches. When asked what she suggests we could have done differently for shoveling the deck, she had no suggestions. Her expectation was clearly unrealistic. **** claims we also ruined her driveway, as she believes our snow equipment hitting the concrete has damaged her driveway. The pictures she provided show areas of pitting in her concrete, which you commonly see happening over time with poor concrete. We are one of the largest residential snow removal companies in ********************** and we currently service over ***** residential properties, all with the same equipment (tractors specifically designed for clearing residential driveways). Like we told **** numerous times, if our equipment was causing this damage and the quality of concrete had nothing to do with it, wouldnt you think wed have many other customers saying the same thing about their driveways? The fact is we do not. Our equipment isnt the cause of the pitting in her driveway, and its obviously an issue with her concrete. We reminded **** that theres a specific clause in the contract she signed/agreed to stating: Contractor shall not be responsible for cosmetic scrapes or any other damage on driveways, sidewalks/walkways, expansion joints, or any other paved surfaces for this exact reason. In suggesting she look online to gain more information on the issue with her concrete, she responded with a rude comment, basically that our suggestion was completely idiotic. We offered to come look at ****'s property in person after we were made aware of the issues she was having (at first she was upset we didnt come out right away and rather emailed her our opinion on the matter after viewing the photos). She informed us that she works full time and doesnt have time to meet. We responded thats okay, well stop by when were in the area and can later discuss our findings with you. Her response was then if youre not a licensed concrete contractor (which we arent), then I dont want you looking at my driveway. Again, completely contradicting herself again. She then proceeded to tell us a lot of personal details about her life and her excuse was Im not able to just meet in the driveway when you show up. I cannot pack one more thing into my day. It would take probably five minutes to look at the damage. **** wrote a very lengthy email that likely took ***** minutes to write yet she couldnt find even 5 minutes to discuss it in person. Its clear that she does not want us to come look at the damage in person.**** went to her original concrete contractor and was told that the original job was perfect". We suggested she get a second unbiased opinion, as of course the person who installed the concrete isnt going to tell you that it isnt up to standard if thats the case. We requested **** let us know who installed her concrete as well as who her previous snow provider was for the past four years. Were curious to know if her previous snow removal provider was also accused of damaging her property. She has not given us those answers.Judys accusations against our owner are completely false. He has not had a conversation on the phone with her once regarding these issues and everything has been in writing. In every email correspondence he has shared with her, his responses were professional and respectful. **** on the other hand has been rude, sarcastic, and disrespectful. Her sarcastic tone and comments like your answer is idiotic make it extremely difficult to work with her. She claims she doesnt want legal action or any more back and forth, yet she is being uncooperative in not providing answers to important questions regarding the apparent damage and is essentially upset that we are not planning on paying for something that were not responsible for.Its unfortunate that **** had to write a poor review on BBB that is not at all reflective of our company or the people within our company. She has personally defamed our owner and her statements are not accurate or truthful.

Its taken me awhile to stoop to these peoples level to even answer their response. The facts are that my porch was perfect and the driveway was PERFECT prior to their snow shovels and machinery putting deep gashes in both. There was NEVER any previous damage to either the driveway or porch from previous years. The individuals who did the work last fall have photos of their finished work. I had just had the driveway re-sealed in the fall of 2022, as well as the porch for basic home maintenance, not for previous damage. The damage done to the porch was not wear and tear. There are GASHES in the porch. The fact that it is a wood porch is completely irrelevant and just another dismissive excuse- which I have heard as a response to every single email on this subject. I was never asked what could have been done differently. If he supposedly now has **** accounts, up from 850 last week, he should know what should have been done differently. In one of the earlier emails, the owner replied sarcastically You should go read up on concrete. Incredibly inappropriate. In addition, ************************* never bothered to come out and look at the damage. I told him why I could not immediately meet with him , and apparently that was the personal information they are referring to. He wanted to just stop by on a whim for 5 minutes I am not available on a short notice due to previous obligations. He could have made an appointment like all the other contractors, but he didnt. I would not feel safe having him come onto my property at this point due to his aggressive and demeaning attitude. I have now had three concrete contractors look at the damage. They all agree that it looks like damage from the machinery used by Precision Lawn and Landscape. They also agree that they have found other damages to concrete from this company, and the owner is extremely rude. You only have to look online at all of the negative reviews to find this out. No one is defaming him. He has already done that very well on his own. There was no email stating that there were gashes in my porch from last year. There were no previous damages from past years. In conclusion, there seems to be no reasoning or communicating with this individual and the company in general. Any words are twisted and manipulated to fit his/their own agenda which is a total lack of responsibility for damages done by Precision Lawn and Landscape to my and others personal property. Im just shocked at how low he and his company have gone in this matter.

**** our email correspondence proves over and over again that your response is filled with lies. To give some clarity to the several untruths in Judys response...**** claims here that her porch and driveway were PERFECT. She states, There was no email stating that there were gashes in my porch from last year. Yet in the email she sent on 9/23/22 (copied and pasted below), **** states that last year, there were big gashes from rough handling of a snow shovel. She claims there was NEVER any previous damage from previous years, yet her email to ** proves otherwise. **** is not truthful. On Sep 23, 2022, at 11:31 AM, **** ****** *************** wrote:Hello,I just signed and sent it back. Can they please be careful on the wood porch and steps. Last year, there were big gashes from rough handling of a snow shovel. This summer, we had the porch and steps re-finished, so Im hoping it doesnt get ruined again this year. Thanks **** The material of the porch is completely relevant. You cannot expect a wood porch that needs to be shoveled of snow to stay in perfect condition. This is just unreasonable. Like weve stated numerous times, we did all we could to be careful by using plastic shovels. **** states that she was never asked what could have been done differently. In the email below to **** on 4/11/23, we in fact did ask her what could have been done differently? (paragraph 3). **** is not being honest again.****,Im sorry to hear of the personal/family tragedies and I understand you are a very busy woman with a lot on your plate. With that said, I am trying to work with you and wanted to look at your deck and driveway to better assess the problems. Your responses have lacked any sense of being cooperative and its disheartening to hear the comments regarding my "idiotic answers", poor customer service, and rudeness. Again, Ive been nothing but professional and respectful in my responses to you. As for the deck, what do you suggest we could have done differently? Its a wooden deck. Its very uncommon to see someone put in a wood porch as a front entry, as snow needs to get shoveled off and wood is not an ideal/durable material, in my opinion. We were as careful as we could have been, only using plastic shovels. The email we both have stating well be careful on the new porch/steps; we only use plastic shovels which helps in not damaging property doesnt guarantee your wooden porch will not show signs of use/wear from being shoveled.Im assuming you had refinished the deck due to scratches caused in the past by your previous snow removal company. Who serviced you in the past 4 years?Of course the company that installed your concrete is going to say the job was done correctly. Who was was your concrete contractor? It would probably make the most sense to get an unbiased opinion.Im sorry you dont like my responses or arent hearing what you want to, but like I stated before (and you didnt comment on), if our equipment was causing this issue on all the properties we serviced, wouldnt we be hearing about it from more than just one customer? The quality of concrete is clearly a factor in the issues you are seeing. If youre truly wanting to settle this without legal action or more back and forth, may I suggest you dont go posting on the BBB. It wont help your case by posting untruths. While my original professional response to you was triggering (i.e. you didnt like what I had to say), your sarcastic tone and accusatory language hasnt been pleasant to deal with either. Thanks,****** Like stated before, our owner was trying to meet with **** but she clearly did not want Precision coming to her property. When she said she didnt have any time to meet, he suggested stopping by when he was in the area and they could later discuss when she was available. We still have not been informed by **** regarding who her past snow removal contractor or concrete contractor are. We would like to visit with them to get more details.Any reputable company will have positive and negative online reviews. We dont claim to be perfect, but our online rating is far better than a lot of others in our industry and our satisfied customers significantly outweigh the couple that have been dissatisfied or are not even real reviews to begin with.**** keeps dismissing the fact that we do not have every other residential customer we service having the same issue (to clarify, 850 to ***** customers, depending on if youre considering large condo associations as one property or multiple). Her poor concrete is clearly a factor in the issues she is seeing with her driveway. We have been more than willing to reason and communicate with ****. She has not responded to our last email and has made it clear she does not want to discuss a resolution. Instead we are forced to communicate via a BBB review and continually give the same responses.
