    Cruel, unprofessional, and dishonest.I worked with Edgewood and their assistant director, ******, for over a month to move both of my parentswho have severe dementiainto their memory care facility. After repeated assurances, I paid $2,000 in deposits, purchased $2,000 in furniture per their instructions, and scheduled everything for a confirmed move-in ****** one contacted me to say anything had changed.The only reason I found out something was wrong was because the furniture delivery guys were turned away and told Edgewood was not accepting furniture. I tried calling immediatelyno answer, just voicemail. I left three messages that day. Still nothing.I drove to the facility and found the director in the parking lot. He tried to avoid me and when I confronted him inside, he said, Im not from *********, I dont know what to tell you, and that my parents would not be moving in. Then he told me to leave.This experience has been traumatizing. They offered no explanation, no apology, and left me scrambling at the worst possible time. This is not how you treat families dealing with dementia. Stay away.
