Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Order
On February 23, 2024, the business received an Administrative Order from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). The Order settles allegations that the business performed and offered to perform electrical work to Minnesota customers when they were not licensed by DLI, a violation of Minn. Stat. 326B.082, 326B.33subds. 1,2,4, 12, 14, 15 and 16; 326B.36 and 326B.082, subd. 11(b)(5)(2022). Under terms of the Order, the business was ordered to hire a Minnesota licensed electrical contractor to file a permit request and pay all permit, inspection and investigative fees for electrical work performed in Minnesota and to cease and desist from performing or offering to perform electrical work in Minnesota until all required licenses and bonds are obtained. The business will also pay $3,500.00 of a $7,500.00 fine, with the balance forgiven if the business provides DLI with information, within 31 days of the Order, that they have corrected the violations or have a plan to correct the violations described in the Order.
