    My husband and I have had a terrible customer service experience with Allied Appliance. We feel compelled to share this as the business that was once so helpful has changed in a significant way.

    We had been loyal customers for over a decade. We bought a new refrigerator and it was faulty upon installation. We lost over $500 in food and $3000 worth of insulin. The owner told us it was OUR responsibility to monitor it overnight and make sure it was working. On a brand new high end refrigerator.

    They replaced the part but left with dented doors which it was delivered with, assuring us the replacement doors were coming. They never ordered the new doors like they said they would.

    It was the WORST experience with customer service I have EVER had. They took no responsibility and had zero care that our loss exceeded the cost of the refrigerator.

    We refused to pay until the issues were addressed. The owner told me that he would begin charging me $125/hour for every minute he had to deal with me and this issue. After 9 months of arguing they then took us to small claims court. We did get our new doors finally but nothing more.

    I would not recommend them to anyone. I am not the only one who has fallen victim to their shoddy work and horrible customer service. Other friends and neighbors have shared similar problems with me.

    This business should not be promoting themselves as "experts". They claim to have "long standing relationships" with manufacturers. This is false. The owner told us to call Samsung directly because "customers have better luck working with them than we do."
