      Went to get gas pay at the pump. Put 20.01 in and they charged my card 76.00 and that is literally every dime in my account.

      Dear *****

      We received correspondence from the Better Business Bureau that you had concerns about your last credit card transaction at a U-Stop.  It is my understanding that you fueled up with $20.01 however the amount being held is $78.00 on your card.

      First, we understand that this can be a very big concern for our customers.  When using a credit card at any dispenser, your Bank will put a hold - PENDING - on a certain amount, depending on what you are charging.  It typically takes your Bank 2 - 4 days to take to release the funds being held.  

      In order to avoid the Bank holding "pending" funds, you can go into one of our stores and Pre-Pay.  Then the Bank will hold only the Pre-Paid amount.  The other option is to use your debit card.  The Bank typically will only hold a $1.00.  

      The reason your Bank has these measures in place is due to safety issues and deterring thieves from scamming sales.  If you want to adjust your pending amount, or need the "Pending Funds" back into your account more quickly, you will need to contact your bank.

      I hope this helps clear up the concern as to why additional funds are being held.

      Went to store on 8/10/22 and while completing transaction the store computer disconnected (have receipt to prove this). Employee and assisted manager said that transaction did not go through and they rang up items again and had me swipe card. Both transaction posted and bank confirmed. Called store and assist manager told me if both are still showing posted in morning that I could come in at 7am and she would revise charges. I got print out from bank and went in for her to say she is waiting on district manager Becky because she is the only one that can revise charge. She took my number to have Becky call me. I called to follow up on this since I didn't not get a call and Becky said that ************* told her that she tried to refund the money and my bank declined the reversal (bank does not show any reversal). When I called *********** 800 that handles the transaction they said that they can see the transactions but I would need to dispute it with my bank. I called u-stop corporate and talked to Stacy which said she would reach out to to them and confirm charges and refund but then she emailed me saying they only found 1 charge for $*****. I called accounting and they said they see both but the $***** was in "limbo" and that I would have to file dispute with my bank. I lost money, time and gas to get the ring around for a small amount of money.

      This was a dispute between Kalissa and her bank and one where we just need patience for the flow of funds to go thru its process.
