    I was sent there from my virtual PCP in 2023. I was excited to see a dermatologist (my first specialist) that I had been waiting for a year. After driving an hour one way an arriving at the appointment, I soon learned it was about getting me in and out as quickly as possible with unanswered questions. The Doctor said "if I have to remove anything it will be very expensive". I assumed he was trying to talk me out of services I thought I drove there to receive a small surgical extraction or a freeze method. I took it as bad customer service and had lost hope in seeing another specialist. I received a 30 dollar bill for a copay after asking the desk before I left if there was a copay or anything else I need to do and I was told everything is good and was free to go. I will not step foot into that Dermatologist office or any in the future. Sorry but this was my experience.

    I had scheduled an appointment for the morning of 10/06. I had a sinus infection and scheduled a Doctors appointment for that same morning. I contacted them early on 10/06 and that I needed to reschedule the appointment. I got a bill for $50 for "professional services" from them. I contacted the Billing office and explained that I had a conflicting doctors appointment and that I called that morning to explain that I needed to reschedule. The Company representative informed me that their practice bills everyone if they inform them a cancellation less than 24 hours before the appointment. Seem unfair that they still bill you if you're sick, have a conflicting doctors appointment and can't make their appointment.

    It is standard practice for physician offices to charge patients a No Show fee when patients don't show up or cancel/reschedule last minute. This is because there is not enough time to schedule another patient to fill that time slot. Empty appointment times equal lost revenue.

    Our office charges a $50 No Show fee when a patient does not show up, or they cancel/reschedule their appointment without providing a 24 - hour notice. If a patient explains to us that they cannot come in because they are sick, had a car accident, etc. then we will waive the fee.

    I checked our records and this is the first time we have heard that you missed your appointment because you were ill. I will go ahead and waive the fee for you. I hope you have recovered from your illness. Please call me if you have any questions. I can be reached at ************.
