    SCAM!!! STAY AWAY!!!
    I have been with this insurance company for almost two years charging $300/monthly to universal life policy of $300,000. Recently I have been going through a divorce and other financial hardships. I asked my Agent to convert the policy to term life because it is cheaper, but she said it will be complicated... So I asked for the policy to be cancelled with an understanding I was getting nothing in return. Several months passed until today I got $900 (for 3months) stolen from my bank account by the company, leaving my account with a negative balance without any warning people!
    I am very DISAPOINTED and AGGRIVATED is not enough to express how I feel and think of the company right now! I called the company to express my grievance and asking for a refund. The Agent I spoke with told me there were no records showing that I requested to cancel. This should've been in writing and that I may not be getting my money back!
    What is the point of having an Agent! Since I expressed my desire to cancel the policy why was it not cancelled? Why was it not in records? Why not reach out before stealing knowingly I expressed the desire to cancel the policy before?
    I was just reading reviews from other people that have been SCAMMED by TransAmerica Life insurance. Imagine being with the company for more than 10 years, paying over $140/month on a $100000 policy, then in the end you're told your final payment will be $450! This was in one of the reviews. So, WAKE UP PEOPLE! Invest where you're hard earned money and sacrifice will payoff.
    I'm writing this review as I file for complaints, I will write more reviews to other platforms informing of the final results and WARNING decent unsuspecting victims. The least I could do.
