Transaction happened on 6/01/23 at 2:29pm. I ordered 3 drinks and let cashier scan my Dunkin’s app for payment. I knew that there was not quite enough, so said I would pay the rest on my card. Cashier left window, asking for help. Blond girl, she seemed new. Second girl with brown hair came over. I again said, I believe I still owe you. She looked at the screen and said yes you do. Gave her my capitol one card. Told her it should just be a few dollars. She scanned it and said yes, I asked how much it was. But she was already processing my card. Asked if I wanted a receipt. I said yes. Told me the amount was the full order price of $14.72. When I told her that was wrong, that they had already scanned my app, I was told they had a ticket jam. When I asked if they could do anything, or refund for the money taken off my app. The girl said no, I’m sorry, have a nice day. Then instead of giving me my receipt, proceeded to throw it away. I am sorry, but that is not right. I work retail. And honestly would have Been fine with the offer of another drink or something. But got nothing. That is stealing. Come to find out, I paid for the car I front of me. All I am looking for is maybe the free drink I paid for, and for them to be shown how to do a refund. I don’t want anyone fired or jobs on the line. I work retail, I understand issues happen. But I spoke up so they wouldn’t be short or get in trouble. What if they tried to charge the cat behind me for my drinks, and they only bought one? I also wrote emails to Dunkin’s cooperate and attached pics of receipts from app and bank account. The banaccou t showed 6/2/23 because that is when the transaction was finalized. It was in pending status on 6/1/23. I got emails back saying they would be in touch with franchise, and the franchise would reach out to me. No one reached out. Sent emails back, and now corporate is asking for same info again. I am done with the games. I would just like the issue fixed. Thank you, ******* ******.
