      You cannot get service here. I have a Ford 150 that needed a new rear end. Waited 3 months to get this fixed and when they finally did, it cost 6000.00 and the new rear end was bad. Literally no resolution of the original rear end problem after 3 months, now still without my truck and out 6000.00. Now the truck has been sitting another month and macdonalds ford is not doing anything about fixing this issue. We keep calling but get the run around. And at one point the manager said maybe we could get a new rear end but we would still have to pay for further labor charges! No! This is outrageous. End of story...I'm out a truck and 6000.00. Nothing resolved. Cannot drive my truck which I desperately need.

      The vehicle was diagnosed as needing a rear differential in March of 2022.Due to the age of the vehicle there were no Ford parts available, so the part was purchased from NAPA. Approximately 5 months later the vehicle returned with the same issue. The NAPA part was found to be defective.  NAPA warrantied the part at no cost to the customer. The new NAPA part was installed at no charge to the customer.  In February of 2023 the vehicle was again brought back to the dealership with the same issues. Macdonald Motors reached out to NAPA. NAPA reached out to their supplier. Neither responded to Macdonald Motors despite numerous phone calls. Macdonald Motors even reached out to the supplier directly.  The supplier stated that they would require more information and photos of the defect before they would warranty the part for the 3rd time. The supplier stated that it would be up to the customer to pay for the procurement of the photos of the vehicle until they could determine their warranty. Mr. ******** has been notified of these events. Mr. ******** has dropped off his vehicle this past Saturday (3/25/23) so that we can take the pictures for the supplier.  Macdonald Motors is working diligently to rectify this situation. The supplier is the only one who currently sells the part needed.  Once the photos are taken, we will immediately send them to the supplier and work to get it fixed for the customer.
