      The only truly good thing I can say about my experience is that there is a new roof on my house now but the rest of the experience was terrible. I worked with Joe from WE Browning, he was a decent guy at first during the invoicing for my metal roof replacement. It should have been a simple job which he himself said would take 1 day. Instead, he forgot the date he was going to come (Monday) and sent a subcontractor from Maine to do the work starting on Tuesday. The subcontractor spent more time talking and leaf blowing my driveway (for some reason) then doing any roofing work. He spent a ton of time on the phone. Joe then came and informed me the job would be $1400 more expensive for strapping on the roof (which exceeds the 10% agreed upon possible increase from the original invoice.) I said fine just because I wanted to get through the process. They ended their first day just barely having stripped the 1st side of the roof. I was promised it would be done the next day... that didn't happen. It wasn't until Thursday evening when I was informed that Joe was now firing the subcontractor who turned out to be stealing tools/equipment from the company. 4 days into a "1 day job" there was 1 piece of metal on my house, and it was supposed to rain the next day. Joe brought his crew out the next day to get the job done. I've done the rest of the work on my house and wanted this project done in a fair and stress free way to save me from worrying about it but that DID NOT happen. Joe's "team" took way longer than promised, left screws, garbage and cigarette butts on my property, one of them turned out to be a thief who hung out at my home for 3 days and stayed late even after it got dark, and barely anything got done. Then Joe decided that it would be "fair" to upcharge me for his inconvenience and potential profit loss on the job from his own mistake of hiring a new subcontractor that was untested. Not great and honestly soured me on using anyone else to work on my house.
