      LHA inc is sending me a collection notices from my Medical insurance Blue across in witch I never uses my Medical insurance in august in 2022 or received a bill From Anthem Blue cross in which now is independence Blue Cross I will get a bill From my provider when there’s a bill but I haven’t used my insurance for quite a few years yet I called the insurance and they don’t know who LHA is but they’ve heard that they’re there a few complaints about the same thing so it seems like a scam to me. I have no money and they have nothing in collections, they don’t even provide what Dr. and from where the $250 comes from it’s a scam

      This is not a Scam.  We are an authorized vendor of Anthem Blue Cross.  They sent check number ********** to you on 1/28/22.  The billing was determined to be incorrect, so they are asking that you return the funds.

      In order to protect your privacy, I will request that you contact me at ###-###-#### and refer to account number ******.  I can then give you the physician's name, date of service and the patient account number the physician used when billing Anthem.

      In the meantime, I will close your account as disputed.

      The attached bill collection notice from Lamont, Hanley & Associates, Inc., Manchester, NH, dated 6/2/23 indicating they are collecting a delinquent amount of money owed to my business insurance company is false. I called the company, Philadelphia Insurance to verify I am paid up for the year and they have no record of dealing with this company.

      We informed our client of the complainant’s allegations, and
      our client advised us that it renewed the policy in question and then cancelled
      it the following month for non-payment.  Our client further advised us
      that they did not receive a response to letters they sent notifying the insured
      of the balance due, and that they do not have record of any contacts from the
      insured regarding this matter.  In any event, we have closed our file as
      disputed and recommend that the complainant follow up with their insurance
      agent or directly with our client and speak to their Collections Department.

      I reached out to my previous medical insurance which is Anthem Blue Cross to confirm if there was any debt or balance owed as I received a letter today (not sealed) on 4/26/23 advising I owe $40. I have read all over online this is a scam and not sure what to do as my previous insurance shows no debt owed.

      The consumer received an overpayment on an insurance claim by Anthem Blue Cross.  They are asking that the consumer refund this amount.

      We do not credit report these accounts.

      We will close our file as disputed.
