    I ordered shoes from Amazon made by easy street. I wore them a handful of times last summer. I took them out this summer to wear, and they had fallen apart. I kept them in the box that they came in, and they were the only shoes I had planned on wearing to Mother’s Day brunch. I was so embarrassed when my husband had to staple gun part of the shoe back on. I don’t want this to happen to anyone else.

    I purchased a pair of Easy Street Shoes. Unfortunately, the shoes have peeled very badly and are extremely unsightly. They have been worn very infrequently. I contacted the company via email on July 5, 2022 about the problem and sent 3 photographs of the shoes.
    I have never received a reply.
    Here is a copy of the email that was sent to the company:
    Good afternoon,

    Attached are photographs of shoes purchased in-store at ***.

    These shoes are worn one-two times yearly for special events at the school where I teach. They are a perfect match to a dress that is worn for the occasion.

    After wearing them this year at school graduation, I noticed that the exterior finish was badly cracked and peeling.

    I am SO disappointed in the quality of the product and that the shoes are no longer in an acceptable condition to be worn.

    Why are shoes manufactured with a superficial application on the exterior that destroys the appearance of the shoe and makes them unusable?

    What can you do to alleviate my disappointment in your product and restore my confidence in purchasing another pair of Easy Street shoes?

    Easy Street is a wholesale distributor of ladies footwear to stores and online retailers throughout the United States. These purchasers then become the sellers of the shoes to consumers. Any complaints about the shoes should be addressed directly to the retailer/website from whom the shoes were purchased.

    In very few instances if the shoes were purchased directly from Easy Street, we would warranty them for a period of (2) years. We believe that these shoes appear to have been on the market more than (2) years ago. In either case, proof of purchase directly from Easy Street would be required.

    I do not accept the business's response as a resolution to my complaint because: [You must provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution. If you do not enter a reason for your rejection, your complaint will be closed as Answered.]

    The business from which I purchased the shoes told me that the responsibility lies with the company which represents "Easy Street Shoes" and advised me to contact them directly.  I followed their advice, but found it was impossible to locate any contact information.  Another business with an online presence advised me ot the contact information from Easy Street Shoes.  Easy Street Shoes never responded to my concern.

    Shoes which are worn once yearly should be in a state of total disrepair.  This is a defect of manufacture. I would never purchase Easy Shoe Streets again and will be vocal in my extreme disappointment with the product.
